“To start, the staff at this location are absolutely amazing. Intake and Guest Experience, Housekeeping, and Maintenance staff create a welcoming and friendly experience.The only inconvenience during my long-term stay would've been one that wasn't preventable and was out of anyone's control, and that being the issue with the water repair at the South entrance sometimes causing a temporary loss of hot water and less convenient access to the facility. As well as the freezer compartment in the mini-fridges not really working to the greatest potential. I did lose pizza snacks (a tragedy lol), but quickly learned to just avoid treating it like a fridge/freezer and more of a fridge/cooler. However, staff were still accommodating in providing an additional fridge and was really appreciated!I did also enjoy a meal at the attached Bar, the dry ribs and buffalo tossed chicken strips were stellar!The Coffee Room is another added bonus, between 6am-11am there's opportunity to receive a complementary coffee/tea and quick snack.Overall would recommend the staying at this location. The rooms are simple, but nice and cozy and the furnishings are comfortable. The friendliness of the staff is an added bonus, it's a welcoming environment and safe as well! The elevators require key-card access to work and provided an additional level of safety for their guests.This Sandman location provides a great example of the meaning of hospitality!Nearby activities: I know there is a swimming pool and gym, however I cannot comment on them, I never took the opportunity to look or use the facilities.Safety: Key-card access is required to use the elevator to move between floors (with the exception of going to Lobby).Walkability: Denny's and a Bar directly below with lobby access. I believe the Denny's is also run 24/7 as well.You also have a 7/11, vape store, cannabis, and alcohol stores- KFC, Burger King, and Papa John's all within 300m of you.You are within short walking distance to Henderson Park, a little bit of a stretch to grocery stores or dollar stores.”

“Central location. Nice refurbished rooms that were very clean and pleasant to be in. I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel very nice on the inside because it looked dated and small on the outside. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. Also a nice surprise to have fresh made waffles for breakfast, with hot breakfast included in the price of my stay. Great value for my money!”
