She complimented the clothing I tried on and was so easy to talk to. My daughter recently passed away, and something about her warmth and patience reminded me so much of her. I’ve had a lot of bad retail experiences, but Danica was by far the best.
To other retail workers a simple smile, kind word, or genuine conversation can mean more than you’ll ever know. You never know what someone is going through, and the smallest kindness can leave the biggest impact.”

“My husband and I took my 94 year old parents shoe shopping in September 25. My Mom has had trouble getting comfortable shoes with enough support for many years now and just moved to Medicine Hat last week. The thought of going shoe shopping was daunting. We heard that Gas Light Shoes could be a good place to start our day and it was a wonderful experience. The owner listened to what my Mom had to say and also listened to what I said. He selected a pair of shoes that he thought would work for Mom and after trying them on and walking in them for a couple of minutes she decided to purchase and then she wore them home. Seeing here success my father decided to try a pair on and he too was very pleased and wore his new shoes home. The next day Mom mentioned that she was walking “coooked” on her right foot. We went back to Gas Light Shoes and the owner gave us lifts and showed us how to place them in the shoe to provide the support Mom requires. We highly recommend Gas Light Shoes. By the way the prices were extremely reasonable too.”

“Best shoe store in town everyone who works there is so knowledgable about the products and they are all so welcoming and friendly, plus they always know what i like and they ALWAYS have my size. Softmoc never disappoints! The lady working found me a pair of shoes that I’d never even seen before, I just told her what I liked and she knew right away! I love this place if I could give it more than 5 stars I would.”

“Dakota, the store manager, was incredible during our interaction and helped make sure that we saved as much money as we could through our VIP rewards! Both staff we interacted with today (Dakota and the cashier whose name I can’t remember) were pleasant and cheerful, Dakota was patient as she helped ensured the cashier rang everything through properly. I found everything I was looking for, the only thing I noticed was the selection for bigger kids shoe sizes was slightly limited, but I still found what I needed! Overall the experience was amazing :)”
