“The Safeway went through a major transformation when they moved to the new location at the north end of Okotoks. The new place is much more modern and the staff are always willing to go above what would typically be expected at a grocery store. Not only will they will they help find a specific item, they do so with a smile rather than make the customer feel like they are interrupting them.

As for the meat department, it just cannot possibly get any better than this place. The staff always say hello with a smile and always seem happy to help with any custom orders. They also have a beautiful glassed in cabinet that showcases their top tier dry aged primals. These are cuts of meat I would only expect to find at the upper most boutique/artisan level of butcher shops, so finding such amazing top shelf specialty product within a chain grocery store is beyond awesome.

The prices might be a little bit higher on some items than at budget grocery stores, but that extra little bit is money that is very well spent in my opinion.”
