“My wife and I had a great experience shopping at Carter’s. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have a great selection with lots of cute options for boys and girls. The prices are also pretty reasonable and they often have pretty good sales as well.”
“I’ve come twice so far to sell some of my kids clothes and both times they bought some of my items. They’re a bit pickier here though and some of the stuff they’ve passed on is definitely sellable and usable. They passed on a vintage princess vest for example, that I was certain they would take, and I was able to sell it anyways to someone else. I feel like it’s part of the group sorting possibly. Some employees may not know the value of vintage. Those that take vintage know it’ll sell, so I feel like it depends on who is looking through the clothes and who sees value in what. There is always a niche market for vintage, so I was just surprised with some of the items they passed on. The people accepting the bins are super friendly though and I don’t mind dropping off here at all.”
