“Best of all the Mastermind Toys is the Sherwood Park location! The Middle age lady with the dark met shorter hair with purple highlights was a delight to deal with!
I dealt with the South Common location a few weeks ago, absolutely the worst people I’ve ever dealt with including the management there. Wow, blows my mind how rude they were and to fight customers on returns after they bought a toy for their kid for Christmas and it was broken even with receipt. I had the nerve to tell me that it isn’t their policy to do returns some broken items, even with receipts they said I have to deal with the manufacturer haha. Never heard the likes, PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THE EDMONTON SOUTH LOCATION.
I’m from Sherwood Park so I will strictly only go to this location from now! And I’ll be making sure to tell people how bad the south mastermind toys location is!”
“I’ve come twice so far to sell some of my kids clothes and both times they bought some of my items. They’re a bit pickier here though and some of the stuff they’ve passed on is definitely sellable and usable. They passed on a vintage princess vest for example, that I was certain they would take, and I was able to sell it anyways to someone else. I feel like it’s part of the group sorting possibly. Some employees may not know the value of vintage. Those that take vintage know it’ll sell, so I feel like it depends on who is looking through the clothes and who sees value in what. There is always a niche market for vintage, so I was just surprised with some of the items they passed on. The people accepting the bins are super friendly though and I don’t mind dropping off here at all.”
“Absolutely loved this shop. The owner was lovely and very helpful. Unique gifts that’s are high quality and reasonably priced. I’m sure the kids in my life will love their Christmas gifts.”
