“Going with a quick 5 star review. Went in with my wife today and had the best possible help from Richard. We had our mattress narrowed down to two within about 10 minutes. He explained everything precisely no smoke and mirrors and everything he said, made good sense.

It’s hard to find an employee nowadays, who is able to do this. Like for real. A good salesperson is hard to find! We decided to head to sleep country to have a look before making a decision but on the way there, I told my wife I’m buying a mattress from Richard today. After a quick stop at sleep country, we realized why we were buying a mattress from Richard. The customer service was not great at SC. We were back at the brick within the hour and made the purchase finger. Fingers crossed for a smooth delivery.

We have never been in this store before we are new to St Albert. This man is a treasure.”

“I would like to publicly acknowledge the efforts of Christa (I believe she is the store Manager at Rona St. Albert).

I ordered a snowblower from the Rona.ca website and paid for it. However, I received a call from Customer Service at Rona St. Albert saying that they cannot sell the unit since it was a display only unit. When I asked to speak to the Manager, I was connected with Christa who told me that while, normally, they would not sell a display unit, they would do so in this case. I agreed and thanked her. However, after a couple of hours or so I received a call from her indicating that the unit was defective and they could not sell. She volunteered to transfer my order to the Calgary (Crowfoot) Rona to which I agreed. They were to ship the unit to my house.

After some time, I received a call from the Calgary (Crowfoot) Rona who indicated that they could not ship the unit and they cancelled my order. When I touched base with Christa, she agreed to look into this. She got back to me and told me that they would have a snowblower brought in for me from another Rona and that I could pick it up in January 2, 2026. Then, on January 1, 2026, Christa called me to inform that the snowblower had arrived at the Rona St. Albert store. I paid for it an picked it up on January 2, 2026.

While this is a lengthy review, I wanted to ensure that Christa was properly acknowledged for the efforts she took to procure this for me. I am sure that everyone will agree this was truly beyond what was expected of her--she could have simply apologized and ended the matter. However, she took it upon herself to ensure that the original sale (through Rona.ca) was honored. Thank you Christa and Rona St. Albert.”
