“I joined Roho in January, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and well-being. From day one, the atmosphere has felt welcoming and supportive — it truly feels like a family.
Working with Terri has been amazing. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and motivating. Since joining, I’ve seen major improvements in my mobility and have lost 10 pounds! I feel stronger and more energized than ever.
Jonathan is another standout — not only is he great at what he does, but his positive attitude and personality make every visit to the gym something to look forward to.
If you're looking for a place that offers genuine support, expert guidance, and a community that cheers you on every step of the way — look no further. Go Roho! 💪🔥”

“The St. Albert Orange Theory is one of the friendliest organizations! Every day I go in I am greeted with a friendly hello from Sarah or Chloe or whoever is on shift. The teachers are informed and make sure to encourage and push me just the right amount. I feel assured that they want me to meet my goals without injury.. Whether it is Bri or Sarah or Jordan, my usual teachers I am confident that they have my best interests in mind even though they are juggling balls keeping up with everyone in the gym! I really do love going to class although let’s face it I don’t always love exercising!!!”
“This is the best MMA gym around. Since I left Sensei Januzs at Dragon many years ago, it's been really hard to find a team that meets my needs as a fighter. This is the only place that has the fighters with the heart I need to improve alongide them on my journey. You will never leave this gym underprepared for what the martial arts world has to offer you. Big thank you to Sheldon and Nathan for putting so much passion into the gym”
“I’ve been attending Sturgeon Valley Athletic Club since January 2026, and overall, I’ve had a really positive experience. Every interaction I’ve had with staff has been friendly, warm, and welcoming. The instructors I’ve had so far for spin, yoga, and Pilates have all been informative, personable, and made their classes feel comfortable and approachable.
That said, the gym atmosphere can sometimes be intimidating. A small handful of patrons are unfortunately quite rude, disrespectful, and seem to have very little awareness of the people around them. This can make the gym floor uncomfortable, particularly when you’re trying to use equipment.
Equipment can also be frustrating to access at times. I’ve encountered multiple situations where people sit on equipment for extended periods without actually using it, seemingly unaware that other members are waiting. This is especially frustrating in a busy gym, where being mindful of others makes a huge difference. Unfortunately, despite hearing similar complaints from other patrons, I have yet to see much being done to address this.
Overall, I really enjoy the club and especially appreciate the staff and class instructors. I just wish there were a little more member accountability and enforcement around gym-floor etiquette, because that would make an otherwise great facility feel much more welcoming for everyone.”

“Love F45 St. Albert! The workouts are always fun, fast-paced, and never boring. The coaches are super friendly and encouraging, and the vibe in the gym is really welcoming. Great place to get a solid workout in and stay motivated. Highly recommend checking it out! Thank you so much to Kate and the team!”
“Before this facility was a 3 star. But now it’s a 4 star. I only docked it 1 star because my only problem with it is the large teenage groups and the frequent under age girls wearing inappropriate gym attire. Aside from that I am very happy with the upgrade it was long over due. I was super happy with the double squat racks and hack squat and new plates. Like yes! And my only other suggestion would be to up the dumbbell weights to like 100 lbs. Clean facility and friendly staff. 👍”

“I’ve been coming to this gym for a year now and it’s fantastic! I especially love the classes they offer. For example, Mila is offering a whole body workout class on Mondays and Fridays from 5:30-6:30. It’s great timing - right after work so I can do it and get home early enough for dinner. Mila makes the class exciting and fun and totally adaptable to one’s fitness level. Every class she changes things up to keep one motivated. The group is small and supportive. I feel I get a great strength workout with some low impact HIIT (not scary HIIT - totally doable for anyone) mixed in for some cardio. All in an hour! Check it out!”
“This gym has awesome owners and is filled with an awesome community to match! I actually started here alone, but the small, close-knit feel made it so easy to build genuine relationships right away.
The coaching is detailed, honest, and incredibly encouraging. I never feel judged or like I’m in the wrong; the coaches are truly invested in teaching you the movements correctly and safely. I came in wanting to learn how to lift weights better and be better conditioned for sports and races.
There are many WOD times, so staying consistent has been easy. I’ve been committed for six weeks now, going 2–3 times a week, and I have never felt better. It has truly made a massive difference in my life!”
