42650 US-180, AlpineWe went for lunch and all of us really enjoyed the food and atmosphere at Bear Wallow. The onion rings and the green chilli on the fries were the bomb! Then the strawberry rhubarb pie was the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed listening to the bluegrass band playing outside.
Will be back to try more things with that green chili and of course, need to try their breakfast.
I'd recommend stopping by to at least get some pie!!!!

Foxfire at Alpine
42661 US-180, Alpinewent last weekend and honestly i cant believe i waited so long. the whole vibe was just perfect for a relaxing getaway. we wandered in kind of late and they still found us a spot outside even though it was busy. i had the burger and it was one of the better ones ive had in a while really juicy and messy just how i like it. my girlfriend got the salad and even she was impressed which is rare for her. the service was super friendly without being annoying or hovering. already planning a return trip next month.

Ye Olde Tavern in Alpine Arizona
42640 US-180 #191, AlpineSmall town dive bar with great personality! Limited food options--pizza, soft pretzel, or taquitos. We had an Italian Sausage pizza--thin crust, pretty good, hit the spot with a beer! Great price! Service was excellent. Bar offers a good amount of bar seating and some high tops. There's pool tables, a wood stove, and locals. Lots of parking in front or back, gravel lot, but not big enough for big rigs which have to park on the street. Driveway is tight and hard to find (narrow gravel road) but the tavern itself is easy to see from the Tackle Shop Gas station. We come up to the White Mountains often, will stop here again.

Alpine Grill & Still
42649 US-180, AlpineI had the French Dip & seasoned Waffle Fries, both were excellent as was the service. It also came with a really nice pickle. Enough to make 2 meals for me. Recommend!
