Been using the Showers there close to 2 years now off and on.
Relocated to AJ from Chandler to hopefully make my retirement home there soon.
Currently living in my vehicle which really has not been to bad lately. I always feel welcomed when I used the men's Shower.
Very inexpensive and fancy Center they have.
I am 64+ so I have decided to fill out the senior application to see if I am accepted as being Homeless in this nice friendly city I come to enjoy being in.
I bought the monthly shower package from Lake and Dillon this morning who have been nothing but kind and courteous towards me every time I come in.
A bit earlier I met a nice young woman Jody and sweet elderly woman Daisy as well when I went to check out the lunch programs for the senior citizens. They had no hesitation in explaining the programs there and even wanted to give me a tour but I passed on the tour for now.
They to were both just as kind and courteous towards me with great smiles which being homeless really means so much to me.
God has blessed me with such wonderful caring people since have been living here as a homeless guy.
I thank the Lord for AJ MGC.
The Genesis Project (Trinity) who actually introduced me to this Center . Would like to thank the whole staff at AJ MGC and the. Genesis Project Staff as well.

Great gym, it gets a little crowded when the winter residents return, but that's to be expected.

If you are looking for a place to book a celebration or a party they have several size rooms the one we booked for our church party. We had 108 people at and more than enough room. The staff was amazing, super kind, accommodating and helpful. They set up all the tables and chairs for us. Not to mention all of the things they have to do at the multigenerational center that I had no clue about. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Great facility but is lacking one key ingredient - an outdoor lap pool. Every other city in the Phoenix metro area has multiple pools open year round. It's about time our tax dollars are put to good use. Plus most cities charge a daily fee for residents and a slightly higher fee for non-resident use. This surely pays for staffing, maintenance, etc... There is plenty of prime real estate near the MGC so there should be no reason not to bring it to a vote for city council. AJ is full of seniors and water based exercise has proven to be excellent for seniors.

Great facility to have packet pickup for the Lost Dutchman Marathon. Lots of room and parking. Everything was nicely decorated, organized, have EV charging, and a library next door.

AJ Parks and Rec is awesome. We've enjoyed all of their family activities and fitness programs. We have also just experienced their birthday packages and it was amazing! The staff did an outstanding job of decorating, coordinating and helping the kids cook! It was the best time and the kids loved it!

The Facility is clean and well maintained. I have noticed that some of the younger facility users do not sanitize equipment after use. All members should remain diligent and sanitize equipment pre and post usage. Let's minimize the spread of Covid-19.Thank youGabe
