Customer service is terrible, the employees seemed annoyed that there were customers in the store and had AirPods in while talking with customers. Also, had multiple items on the sales rack for $19.99 jeans and did not honor the pricing as advertised

I appreciate this American eagle team so much, they go above and beyond for their customers! I went in today with my mom who is a Spanish speaker and they had a Spanish speaking associate help my mom so she can get the best help as possible! She was truly nice and helped my mom find pair of jeans she has been looking for months. She explained to my mom how the sizes work so my mom can get a better understanding of how the jeans are, so she got two pairs of jeans. As I was shopping around, i had anothe r associate checking up on me and making sure i had the sizes i needed . They truly went above and betond and i appreciate their customer service and i will be shopping here more

Went to purchase jeans at this store, they offered me an additional discount when I went to pay if I use their credit card and sign up. I’m not new to this however I figured that I would pay if off and then probably not ever use their card again… the young cashier said that wouldn’t be difficult for me to do.Once he got me approved, I was then ‘not allowed to pay at this time’ and would need to login to my credit card account online to pay later… this made me upset that they pushed payment in hopes that I would forget and be charged the credit card interest later. Out of sight, out of mind tactic…When I went to login to my account later with my receipt information, I was then told that I couldn’t login without my credit card number which would arrive in 7-10 business days. This is a serious scam and I’m disappointed that a teenagers clothing brand would do this. I can guarantee you that I get busy many times and this strategy would have worked to cause me to forget to pay until I got his with the 24% interest fee later this month, if it wasn’t so obvious to me that that was their intention the entire time. I can also guarantee that when a teenager signs up for a card in this store, they will forget to pay it in time and will fall into this easily paying 24% on their purchase and effectively financing their jeans at 24%.If youre going to have your employees push credit cards, explain to them how to explain it accurately because the fact we are not able to pay in your store, is the reason that would have made me not agree in the first place. One more reason to buy online and leave these stores to disappear.
