The Arizona Railway Museum is an all-volunteer organization with a great collection of rail equipment. It features interactive displays, railcars to walk through, and a 1906 vintage steam loco with a ringable bell. The museum has a playground, picnic area, and refurbished classic passenger cars. Visitors can explore various train cars and locomotives, including a caboose. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making it a great place to visit and evoke memories of an earlier era of long distance travel.
John and Dale are awesome. This place is fantastic; a gem for anyone that’s remotely a railway enthusiast. Great series of cars you can walk through with loads of history and great stuff to see. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.
