Unsafe, Unprofessional and Unreliable!
I called 2020 Auto Glass on July 9, 2025 to schedule a windshield replacement, which was installed on July 12, 2025. When I set the appointment, I was promised solid workmanship and a $175 rebate, neither promise was fulfilled.
After installation, I attempted to use the adaptive cruise control on my 4Runner, which 2020 Auto Glass was responsible for recalibrating after dismantling and reinstalling the windshield. This recalibration was handled by the owner’s son and was done incorrectly. The result? My vehicle’s braking system malfunctioned on the road, nearly causing me to total my car. Imagine the risk, brakes slamming unexpectedly or failing to respond while approaching another vehicle. That is not safe.
The company did show sincerity in wanting to fix the issue. However, after a missed appointment, I was forced to bring my vehicle into their Chandler shop the following week which completely defeated the convenience of an on-site install. While the calibration was eventually corrected, the experience left me uneasy.
On top of this, I was promised a $175 rebate in the form of a Visa card. I was told this would take 20–40 days after installation. That was acceptable. But now, nearly 90 days later, I still have not received it. Since July 21, 2025, I’ve received multiple emails from Lacy at 2020 Auto Glass, each assuring me I was “on the next set of rebates being issued.” Week after week, month after month, nothing has been delivered.
I’ve even received direct texts from the owner, explaining personal and financial hardships as excuses for the delay. While I can sympathize, this is not my problem. I am a paying customer, and I was promised something specific. I’ve been told “next week” countless times, including a promise of a rebate no later than September 26, 2025, a deadline that also came and went.
At this point, I have been more than patient. Due to their continued failure to deliver, I’ve had no choice but to file complaints with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, the BBB, and the Arizona Registrar of Contractors in hopes of reaching a resolution.
I am frustrated with the broken system of unreliable contractors in this state, and I refuse to fall victim to false promises. If you value safety, honesty, and reliability, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

Avoid Auto Glass 2020 at all costs.
I had my windshield replaced while visiting Phoenix by Auto Glass 2020 and the experience was extremely disappointing. Within days of their service, moldings started flying off on the highway, leaving me to duct tape things just to get home. The install also left dents on my roof, a damaged antenna grommet, and sloppy workmanship everywhere.
When I tried to get it fixed, I was given the runaround for months—promises from Jessie ($100 rebate that was never received), then denial of service from Steve after giving them weeks notice when I could make a special trip back to Phoenix. I emailed and left messages for Cash, the owner but was continually hung up on and ignored. To this day, nothing has been resolved.
Now I’m stuck with over $2,000 in damages caused by their technician. Dishonest sales pitch, zero accountability, and terrible workmanship. This company does not stand behind its work or value its customers. I strongly recommend avoiding Auto Glass 2020.

Windshield repair done in our vehicle they damaged the car breaking the side of the hood. Months and no one will respond. I have called asking several times to speak to a supervisor they just put you on hold and ignore you. I will contact my insurance the better business bureau. Triple and all the companies you partner with until my claim is resolve.

SCAM! They’re not even a BBB accredited business. The old good reviews must’ve been under different management. Sort by “newest” and you’ll see I’m not the only one.
They promise a rebate then ghost you after install.
Jesse promised a few weeks turnaround and that they would contact me. That was April 2025 and I haven’t heard a peep. I’ve left voicemails, sent a emails, and talked to them over the phone only to be re-routed to voicemail because “that’s a different department”.
UPDATE - Sep 2025
I filed a complaint with the AZ Attorney General office, and if you’d like to receive your rebate, I advise you to do the same. The company (Lacy) replied to the Attorney General Office stating she had already talked to me and paid out the rebate. I got a copy of the interaction from the state shortly after receiving an unexpected phone call, that my rebate was suddenly ready to be paid out. Interesting timing.

The service was fine where it goes south is they drop you like a hot potato once you start asking for the rebate they promised you. Jesse was very responsive and attentive to get the replacement set up but once it was done would not return any calls regarding the $300 rebate promised. I called the main office and always got out through to a voicemail for a person they said handles it but it’s over 3 months now and ongoing. I left a message for the owner. No response and Jess despite having hit direct phone….zero response. I feel like their rebate program is a scam. Likely to report it to the state regulatory body the oversees them. Maybe the attorney general as well. There are plenty of of other reputable law glass companies that actually honor their word.

Wish i would have read the reviews before contacting these people. Glass is chipped at the top(approx 4 inches long) but had excessive sealant over it to disguise it. I went to th car wash and yup, you guessed it, it leaks right there. I called and told the woman that answered the phone that the installer scratched the frame surrounding the windshield on my 2024 Gladiator. I called yesterday to ask about the rebate. Initially it was 30 days. We are now at 40 days. Basically was gaslit on that as well. I did them one better, I called my insurance company and let them know of the issues. They were very interested to hear and see the pictures i sent. It is too bad there aren't more trustworthy people in this industry. I am making a claim to my insurance company on the scratch and the picture is time and date stamped which coincides with the install time as i took pics of the before and after. Be very cautious using any fly by night companies such as 2020 auto glass. See the pics attached. If they dont send the rebate as well for the 150 dollars, as i have the recorded conversation, i will have them served and go to small claims court for triple the amount.

Exceptional service. I’ve had my windshield replaced a few times in the last 46 years but this was the easiest it’s ever been. The glass technician was polite, punctual, with great communication for the appointment - and the support staff made creating the request and insurance claim super easy. Highly recommend this company - and I understand it’s Arizonan family owned, which is pretty cool.
So a shout out to the glass technician Juan, Jesse who started the insurance claim and followed up with me throughout most of the process, and the rockstar GM Lacey, who took my call on their after hours line - I called at about 7pm with a question and for most companies all I would’ve been able to do is leave a voicemail. Really really impressive customer service!

Beware of this place. They will promise you a rebate and then they will not honor it. Moreover, they will insult and humiliate you for holding them accountable for their end of the deal. They will try very hard to sell their services to you and say many things that sound nice, but soon after will refuse to respond to your calls and lie about why they are unable to give you your rebate. It took us five days to even get ahold of the owner to discuss this, and even after that there has been absolutely zero progress. This is not a professional establishment and you will be better off taking your business elsewhere.

I don’t normally do bad reviews, but unfortunately, I have to. The company did the job fine. The windshield was put in correctly. No issue with installation. I had the choice to either get the windows tinted and pay the difference or get a rebate. I told Jesse, the person I worked with, that let me drive on it for a few days to see if I want to get the windows tinted. After a few days, I decided to take the rebate. I have called Jesse several times and each time he stated someone’s going call or send the rebate. I got my windshield done in April 2025. I had a conversation with Jesse three days ago and he said the owner was going to call because of the delay in the rebate. No call. I also stated if nothing happened, I was going to write a bad review. I had three other cars lined up to do business with this company, but because of how much of an issue I had with the rebate I think that opportunity is gone. I am not sure where the ball was dropped, but it was an overall bad experience once I tried to get the rebate.

Amazing quality.. great communication and solid work done.. I’ve had 3 windshields replaced with them and they have come thru time and time again…
The rebate takes a little time but never fails to show up..
If you want solid work done from start to finish this is the place..
The office manager Lacy is a breath of fresh air when nowadays the people at the top don’t want to get their hands dirty.. she was with me every step of the way and when there was a minor issue she made it right without hesitation.
A lot of the glass company’s out there.. but if you want high quality with every step of th way call Auto Glass 2020

Service its self was quick and painless, the rebate check however is another thing… got my windshield replaced in June, insurance paid out the claim on June 19th. Was told UP TO 4-6 weeks for my rebate and now getting ignored by Nikki one of the owners and Cash the other owner is now claiming he was sending the money via Zelle after a week of constant reminders (after 11 weeks of waiting) still never received anything. Don’t expect to get your rebate lol was trying to hold off on leaving a review to see if they would make it right but they don’t seem to care about upholding their promises and deals. Super unfortunate.

Should be Rated 0 stars this place is a joke. They over charge your insurance and provide you with cheap glass replacements. Ohh let’s not forget about the rebates you can grow a redwood tree in the valley faster than you can get it. Please stay clear from this place
