Went to get a battery replaced, had make model etc of vehicle. Also my husband sent pictures of the battery to me to show them. I didn't go home with a battery as they seemed to have no clue what kind I needed. Should they not be able to figure this out?

This is the least amount of star it will allow me enter. I usually will not go to the extent of reviewing a bad experience, but this needs to be addressed. My minivan was having issues starting and I thought that the battery was going bad. I had been to this particular store (#3252) on a previous occasion before to replace a headlight and was basically turned away as they wanted to close the store early that day and would not help. Undeterred by that experience, i thought replacing a battery, that too early in the morning, would not be that big a deal. Turns out, I was wrong. I have always used AutoZone for my car battery needs and never have I been so disappointed and rudely treated. The clerk and manager told me that I would need to purchase the battery, even though it was well under warranty. I was ok to purchase it, and asked them if they would replace it. They flatly refused. " We are not mechanics and will not install the battery" These were the exact words. In all the years I have been to Autozone, I have never experienced this. I thanked them and proceeded 4 miles down the street to Gilbert and Williams Field rd. Autozone, where a super courteous and knowledgeable Clayton, replaced my battery and made sure I did not need to pay, as the battery was within warranty period. Thanks Clayton for the exceptional service!! The two gentlemen at store #3252 need to learn basic human courtesy and how to better treat returning customers.

Went in this afternoon with my husband. Three of your employees were up at the front, doing nothing. We were greeted, not so happily. (I get it if the store is slow, which it was, at least attempt to look productive....there is always something to do....). Also fake the welcome to your customers, even if it kills you. So my husband asked where to find an item. Another one of the employees pointed to which direction. Wrong location. We looked around to find the proper aisle, and of course they were out of stock. As we left, the staff was still up there, standing and just shooting the breeze. It would have been nice for someone to make an effort and ask if we founded what we needed. As we left, the girl who greeted us in, sounded more lively when she told us goodbye. We went to your other Chandler location, and service was out of this world! They went above and beyond. I will rate them after this.

Super busy only had one associate available and he was a champion. He kept everyone happy and got customers out quickly. I didn't get his name but he was working morning's on 11/27/23.

Needed to get DEF and had 5 minutes before the store closed. I was told by the store clerk or manager sorry we’re closed - smh - change your times if you closed early everyday.

I had a dead battery yesterday and had the best experience with Leo at AutoZone! Not only was he pleasant, he offered amazing customer service and made sure my car was good to go. He even walked me through how to change the battery myself in case this happens when I'm out in the middle of nowhere. I'm so grateful and will definitely be back.

Guy says he is a manger was rude on a personal phone call and never said can i help you or when he rang me up he continued to stay on phone took my money and never said thank you. And the district manger wont respond bad business

AutoZone is the way to go for all your automotive needs. I love their loaner tools, their lifetime warranty on parts and the fact they are conveniently located.I use them after my oil change to have it recycled. Note that they DO NOT have containers to recycle antifreeze so you have to dispose of it elsewhere like the waste disposal on McQueen and Queen Creek upon appointment M-F.Last time I had a bad battery and went there to get a new one. Note: they DON'T install the battery for you anymore so bring your tools.

Needed a battery change, the lady who helped me was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. Changed my battery very fast and answered any questions. Definitely going to return for any future needs

Came into Autozone with a dead battery in my car. The young man refused to come out and take it out for a replacement, saying "it's blazing hot out there and it's just a courtesy." He told me there's some tools right there (pointing to a cart). They also refused to give me additional tools when the ones we had weren't the right fitting. I couldn't believe it. I've never been treated so horribly by staff at Auto Zone.
