I recommend taking your business anywhere else. The people at this location are generally nice but the doctors aren't attentive enough and cancelling your wellness plan is more difficult than it needs to be.

If your pet just needs checkups with no issues and you just want to give your money away this is a great place. If you care for you pet find a real veterinary service.

Beware of this clinic. They have no ultrasounds to investigate.inconclusive blood tests, they misquoted on services after going over the fees with the doctor,, the blood technician that called me back regarding her blood test was rude, not helpful/knowledgeable. My dog passed away 2 weeks after visiting this clinic i believe it was due to too many services and medication being done in a short amount of time, her body could just not handle everything that was going on. She was a mixed pit bull seven and a half years old. She was diagnosed with valley fever at this clinic on 5/5/25 and also an enlarged spleen. I spent a couple $100 on blood test that came back inconclusive. And then was told that it was gonna be an additional six hundred dollars to get the ultrasound. The blood tesha should have shown that she had a tumor that was about to burst. Yesterday morning was the first time I gave her a large amount of her valley fever medication that I questioned several times to the pharmacist and to the clinic and was told to proceed to give it to her. As a result the tumor bursted, she bled out and died within an hour. I believe she would still be here. Alive, if I would have had better communication and should have been counseled, not to have so many services done at one time.Which included sedation for dental cleaning, yearly shots, rabie shots, blood work due to being on apoqual. Do your homework when you pick a clinic for your best friend.

SLOW! Took 11/2 hours to be seen. Upper respiratory diagnosis on newly adopted kitten took close to 2 hrs. Attendant was helpful but Dr was in and out in less than 3 minutes.

Never had issues with this Banfield until today. Our dog had his eye scratched last night, so we made an emergency online appointment for 9:30 today. We get a call 30 MINUTES before saying that our appointment is cancelled. I didn’t know that, so when I told the receptionist I was checking in, she said that my dog needed surgery and that they don’t do surgery. First of all, how do you know that?? You haven’t even seen my dog yet. So I asked if they can at least check him. She told me they were completely booked for the day and that I “made an appointment with a non existent vet”. Mind you, she was able to make an appointment for someone else right before I walked up to the desk. Extremely unprofessional behavior. We’re still worried sick about our dog because we were given no details or any direction other than “You’re out of luck. Make an appointment elsewhere”. So upsetting.

My sister and I recently took her cat to Banfield Pet Hospital in Chandler, AZ, after a hairline fracture was discovered in her cat's leg—a fracture that had been missed by another vet just a few days earlier. The visit turned out to be a highly positive experience, thanks to Dr. Kirk, who has been our trusted vet for the past year.
Dr. Kirk’s expertise and compassion truly shine. She quickly noticed the fracture that was previously overlooked, demonstrating an incredible attention to detail and a deep understanding of animal care. (If ever x rays are taken for your pet, please have a second pair of eyes go over them.) Her knowledge, combined with her warm, compassionate approach, made the entire visit feel reassuring, even in a stressful situation. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she treats, and it’s been evident in every visit.
Banfield itself was clean, welcoming, and efficient. Kiley, the vet technician made us feel that our cat would get the best care possible and our cat did. They took the cat to back to apply a splint to his injured leg. We didn’t have to wait long for our appointment. This was our first experience at this location, but Dr. Kirk’s thoroughness and ability to explain things in an understandable way make her stand out.
I highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital in Chandler, especially Dr. Kirk, who has truly been a lifesaver for our cats. Whether you're seeking routine care or need a more specialized examination, this team provides excellent care. We're grateful for Dr. Kirk’s diligence and expertise in ensuring our pets get the treatment they need.

I could over look the expensive prices this clinic charges IF I thought my dog was getting quality care. However they have proven they can not provide that.
Besides the complete chaos that is there scheduling system. I originally made an appointment because my dog had soft stools. They had what appeared to be small chunks in them. Which I’ve come to find out believe was collgen from some bones I’d been giving him but had stopped once I stopped giving them to him although his stool was still a little loose. I told them that but they insisted on giving him a deworming treatment just in case. I dropped him off that morning and picked him up just before closing and they said they could not get a stool sample from him. They also gave me back a the full baggie of dog food. claiming they could not get him to eat. Now I’m sure many dogs can not eat when anxious or overstimulated but I promise you my dog NEVER turns down food. So as odd as that was I trusted the vet. They sent him back home with an antibiotic for 7 days. Unfortunately I had to leave for 2 weeks due to a family emergency so I had him stay with a friend. When I returned he still had soft stools, but now had a rash on his hind LEG and his ears seem to be bothering him.
So I took him in again. I was concerned his food the vet didn’t seem too concerned about that but did recommend a different food for me to try since I was concerned. Anyway that day we got ear drops and wipes for the rash but the vet insisted he had a rash in his groin area. I had no idea what she was talking about and I said I think it’s his leg. And she said it’s actually mostly in his groin area not his leg. This confused me as I did not see a rash in his groin area but he does have a weird pattern on his belly. He’s had it since we got him. And I just thought maybe that was the rash and I just didn’t realize. I felt like a bad pet owner.
Fast forward. 3 days later the rash from his leg has gotten worse and now he really did have a rash in his groin area. But I believe form the wipes. It was no longer just the light and dark patterned but red raised bumps that he was continually trying to bite at now.
So I called the vets office and they said they would discuss with the vet and give me a call later that day to tell me if I should bring him in or not. I never got a call back. I will say that the staff was very nice and I was able to get his flea/ heart worm medication from this vets so that’s why they get the second star.
