So my wife went to get her diabetic medicine with her BOA credit card and was denied because BOA put a block on the card. We've never misses a payment in all the years we've had a cc with BOA. BOA said it was a protection because the $496 dollars was to large of a purchase. Again this is what my wife's diabetic medicine cost. So my wife left the pharmacy without her diabetic medicine. When the following day I tried to pay my monthly payment to BOA, which I've never missed is all the years I've had a BOA card, your system now would not allow me to pay because our account had now been blocked by your company. So now my wife could not get her diabetic medicine and we could not pay our monthly BOA cc bill due to being "blocked"by your company. When I called to pay I was sent to your fraud protection department there in Arizona. The woman who answered the phone got angry with me and refused to talk with me as I tried to explain to her what was going on with the blocking of our cc account. She only became more angry, said she would not listen to me and hung up. This was a horrible experience and with the heart trouble's I have put alot of stress on me and my wife. What a shame that one of your employees who's job is to help customers refused to help and simple hung up on me. My name is Mark Lawrenson, Ladonna is my wife.

DO NOT bank with BofA. Their check hold policies and practices are unreasonably long. They do not honor the hold stated on your receipt. Your deposit can be flagged by their system as high risk and then additional holds are placed. They do not tell you that though until after the fact. Even if you call and complain, they will just tell you there is nothing they can do. Checks clear in 3 to 5 business days, so a hold of 10 days is extensive. Most other banks will release at least $100 to $200 right away, and then the remainder in the next few days. Not Bank of America though.. stay away if you want your money in a timely manner! If this has happened to you, I would encourage you to join me in filing complaints with the Office of the Comptroller for the Currency, the BBB, the CFPB, the Attorney General's Office/Consumer Complaints, and to BofA's Feedback email address, which can be found by googling complaints to BofA.

So you’re telling me, banks can bail out billionaires but can’t refund my $35 overdraft fee?

SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS BEWARE!!!!! DO NOT USE BOA OR CLOVER CC PROCESSING...I have a huge issue with this Bank, They are thieves... Whatever you do dont use the merchant processing service Clover...Here is how BOA rolls,I run credit card, they hold onto the money for 5 business days, (so essentially 7 days total...)They charge the 3.5% fee to my checking account, within 2 business days even though the money from the charges will not be in the account for 7 days total 5 business days...They overdraw my account with the merchant fees, (cause I am a small business owner and on a shoe-string budget) and charge a 35.00 ACH fee...BOA refuses to reverse the 35.00 OD fee, that I did not authorize, (so essentially they are stealing money from the small business owner...)I get on the phone and Start using Blue Yonder to process my transactions saving thousands of dollars a year...There is no excuse for this type of activity and I will be contacting an attorney...STAY AWAY-

Employees are always friendly and very helpful, we are old and kinda set in our way. Never have we been mistreated or disappointed in a visit to this fine establishment.

Bank of America is absolutely horrible! I tried to open a new account online due to the Covid-19 and me being 30 weeks pregnant. For the safety of my unborn baby I applied online and got approved. I knew I had to deposit $100 into the account to open it however how can I do that with no account # or debit card information? I waited for my card to come in, when I got it I went to set up my online banking and couldn’t. Called to activate my card and was told my account was closed. Called customer service who said that the account was closed due to a business decision. That’s it, that’s all I got. Also I can not apply for another one or reopen my closed account. If I could give a zero stars I would. Their is no number or any way to contact someone higher then the call center. Very very disappointed in this company. Will be telling my family and friends about this most of which use you as their bank. Would be nice if I could get contacted by someone however I know no one will bother. What a way to help people during this horrible pandemic! You definitely aren’t here for America.

Location is beautiful came for two different interviews one went very well the second one with a lady name dree was horrendous she was rude and rushed through the entire process made me feel like she immediately declined my app and was in a rush to go to lunch. Thank u for showing me the ugly side of B of A. I'm glad I ended up working elsewhere
