I called this office last week to find out if they had a notary available so I wouldn't drive all the way down there for no reason if they didn't. They wouldn't answer their phone. They have it forwarded to their corporate 800 number so that they don't have to answer. When I spoke to corporate I waited on hold for several minutes while the lady there tried in vain to reach the Chandler office so she could find out if they had a notary on duty. They would not respond to her either.Today I called again and tried all the different extensions, everything was again forwarded to the corporate office.I was driving in the area anyway, so I took the chance and went in the office. Fortunately a guy there was a notary, albeit one with a bad attitude, but I digress.I spoke to the manager and told her the importance of answering their phone. She acted flabbergasted that there would be any reason I should want to talk to the local office rather than being forward to the 800 number and asked me why. I told her to find out something only they would know locally such as if they had a notary on duty. She then told me well the 800 number can ask us that.....Why she thinks I want the number I called to forward me to a different number so the person at the different number can send her a message and wait while she deigns not to reply is a real puzzle to me.I then told her again they just need to answer their phone. She said they are too busy to answer. I looked around the building and pointed out I was the only customer there and she said well right now they aren't busy. So why didn't she answer the phone when I just called her a minute ago?The fact is that the lazy woman who Schwab put in this office as the manager will make any excuse and do anything she can to avoid answering the phone. Then when the customer makes a simple complaint she argues and comes up with all sorts of reasons that she cant do it. If she spent less time arguing and making excuses for her incompetence and more time trying to address customer concerns I'm thinking she would have time to answer the phone AND she might have more customers and corporate would assign her more staff. Although who would want to work for a lazy boss like her? This place has terrible service.I also have money at Fidelity. I call their Chandler office and they always answer the phone. Go there, you will like the service better, the people are nicer to you when you ask for something also. Also they pay a lot more interest for any cash you have in your account, several times more in fact.

Well, the last in office transaction did not hold well according to my accountant. If I filed my income taxes with the transactions CS did, I would have been fined. Luckily, I was able to undo this transaction and save myself the headache.

Worst CustomerService I’ve ever received at a Schwab office. Called three hours ago to say I needed to come in and sign a document that Schwab has specifically asked me to sign for compliance reasons on short notice. Was told to email to somebody at this office, who did not respond to email or voicemail. Nobody at the office answers the phone. After 25 years as a Schwab client, this is the first time I am wondering why I do business with this company.

My father passed 2 months ago, and I have spent the last 46 days trying to get Schwab to roll over his IRA. What a mess! Ridiculous amounts of paperwork and everything notarized. Zero help from the staff. My father left this money to me, but I feel like Schwab thinks it's theirs? Every time I think im done, there is one more signature ( notarized of course! )I highly recommend you avoid this company. Try Fidelity, They are awesome and helpful and simple.

Beware of the CHAOS! Choose another bank. Have had nothing but problems opening up a Trust account. The paper work sat on a desk for weeks. We had to call to see what's going on. They don't know what they're doing!! Such a bad experience!

My husband and I walked in to try and set up accounts for ourselves and our children. Immediately we were met with attitude and rudeness. Blonde lady with glasses asked what we needed and as we were telling her, she told us right away just to go to the website/app and do everything on there. I explained to her that Ive tried that way before and needed more help and she just kept directing us to online, basically trying to shoo us away. She didn't even try to help even just a little bit or direct us to someone who could.

I left Schwab a few years ago because they cut me of from my account and none would help me. I decided to last August. A lady there helped me get my account and funds transferred to Schwab and that it should take about a week. She was right. Today is the end of October and I still have not heard anything from Schwab. I want to take some cash out of my IRA but I do not know who my Schwab Representative is. Maybe I should go back to Fidelity. At least they stay in touch.

Another poor experience with Schwab. Setup a "intelligent investment" account and was told a person from the local Chandler branch would be in touch to respond to some questions I had. No response, no answers, no anything. No wonder I have most of my assets outside of Schwab, but thought I'd try to see if they can perform. Epic fail, lousy service....they need to figure it out....

I tried to get an appointment with an advisor to set up an account with my 18year old grandson. 20 minutes to talk to him about investing. No chance unless he was depositing a large amount of money. I called Fidelity and have an appointment with them to help with setting up a proper account for my grandson. On top of that Fidelity has started a program for teens to start investing. Schwab not new or young investor friendly, Fidelity is the way to go. Very disappointed in Schwab.
