I never thought such raw negative emotion could be the result of a trip to Culvers, nor that pain could be so carelessly inflicted by employees, all in the name of control!!My Son & I have a tradition of letting the woes & stress of our trips to Chandler to see his doctor melt away in our mouths with a classic strawberry blueberry vanilla concrete shared between us.This particular evening, we arrived later than usual. Being the last car in line, my anxiety rose as I saw the clock strike 10 simultaneously as the patron 2 cars ahead of us.was passed his concrete. As the dreaded replay of the nightmare that had been rehearsing in my mind came true, I hear a young man's voice say that they are closed.Seeing what little life left in my son's face drain, and be replaced with the melancholic apathy so cruelly standard for him filled me with courage- and I made a humble request.I asked him, Sir, I know it is is moments too late; but would you please consider putting a Tiny bit of concrete into a water cup for us?He started to say yes before a slight commotion & young girls voice took over. Not only was she rude- but it seemed a great pleasure for her, apparently a manager, to let this poisonius vitriol out, for some reason acceptable so long as she thought it only me & knew not of my son.Of the years that we have been coming here, We have been in line at 10 before and never ever has this happened. I asked why she could not just put a little into a water cup-First she said it was the computers being down. When I objected she quickly pivoted into the unthinkable. Deceipt, and lies.Still only moments after seeing her hand that concrete to that customer two cars ahead, She tells me that they have put away in the machine. And it is impossible to get back out. When only seconds before. They were filling orders.I wish her the best And all the other employees have always been phenomenal. What is sad situation?Or presumptions on her part that could lead to such behavior,i do not know and I will not pretend to.Nor will I judge her. This is up to god.Our church has all agreed to stop attending this Culver's. We still struggle advocate for this company. And will try that out of our way to visit other locations when we can. My son looks like he is going into live.Timer and I pray that nothing in his adult life makes him feel as helpless as I did that night..Sometimes I think,if only I had asked differently,or gone out of my way to have been kinder,.Could I have achieved a different result?Things like this show me how extensive a radius of butterfly effects reaches out from every single little action we take in life and have been nice,or conversely. , being mean, can truly destroy or make somebody'sNight and even entire life because we never know when it could all end.

The burger was greasy and pretty tasteless. The fries were good and the ice cream okay. The area around the drinks dispenser needed cleaning. The staff members were polite and responsive.
