I would like to begin with stating that it takes a LOT to leave a negative review. A LOT.
After tonight, I will never visit this CVS again and will continue my business with Walgreens. I wish I would have gotten the pharmacy techs name, but a word of advice, insurance is insurance. There is no need to shout out what insurance a person has and why you don’t accept it. Apparently I still had Access on my account despite having insurance through my employer and one of the techs felt the need to shout out that my medication was not covered under Access. A simple “your insurance does not cover this prescription and you will need to pay x amount” would have sufficed. The attempt to belittle me by having state insurance under my profile which was inaccurate, left a bad taste in my mouth. Learn compassion for others and to not assume and further more … stop shouting patient’s business for other’s to hear in attempt to put them down or berate them. For the record, I am very much employed and have “insurance”, but there are people who don’t and may have to rely on state for assistance. The audacity of this young lady…

I want to leave 5 stars specifically for two employees, Jocelyn and Nayelis. I went in to get passport photos for my whole family, and the 18 month old twins were not game. Jocelyn and Nayelis both went above and beyond to help us get the photos, they were so patient and kind and I cannot say enough how much this tired Momma appreciated their help!!

Does CVS has gotten way better over the past couple of months. The team members are very helpful and kind and they have less items out of stock than they've had in a long time. Cvs has more competitive prices and the sales are now able to compete with Walgreens so I appreciate all the coupons and discounts provided by CVS and their mission to be better because they were pretty horrible a 6months ago. Way to go guys!! I am impressed at the improvement made by this store and it's my go to over Walgreens for sure now

Sorry for the long review CVS and others but I want to express my feelings about this in full. January 3rd of 2025 was my 31 year serving as a police officer for a local city government. I have had good days and bad, everyday I get up thank full for the chance to help someone, maybe save a life, or take a bad person off the street. My job is not to hurt people it is to help them, that has been my motto since day 1.
ISSUE #1
I use CVS on Dobson and Warner for all my meds, my children and spouse also. Matt the lead manager, Gina, and some others are always awesome. As my career winds down I have developed a little bit of anxiety and some trouble sleeping. My doc has got me on a good plan with a few meds that have helped me. Last week I ran out of one of them, even though I hate taking them, they help.
I called it in and went down to pick it up, I was helped by the other pharmacist Matt I think black hair pony tail. He told me I should still have some pills left, I told him that I did not, he stated "I will fill it a few day's early, but I know what your doing." I was shocked, he was saying that I am taking more of the meds then I should be, something I have never done.
He spoke to me as if I was a child, giving me his look of disgust, I have never taken more then told to by my doc, number one I hate meds, and I am scared something would happen to me. So I was very insulted by his comments as others listened that were waiting in line. I though, he is having a bad day, we all have them and I gave him some grace.
His job is to take care of sick people or people who need their meds, not a job to take lightly, I assumed until meeting him Pharmacist were smart, confident, and had compassion for people, you know like the rest of the staff there.
ISSUE 2
Now tonight my spouse has the flu, she was called in Tamiflu from our doc. I went to get it, the lady at the front said my ins did not cover it, I asked why? She said it just doesn't. I said, I use my ins here all the time. She then asked the Pharmacist to check it out and it was the same guy as above.
He again was short, rude, and told me I had no coverage there, I advised him that my spouse was double covered by her job and mine and that I have the best ins you could have. He printed a paper and slammed it against the little plastic window and said this is what they give me and she is not covered.
The arrogance oozes out of every pore in this mans body, he could have looked at the pic of her ins card I was trying to show him on my phone but of course he had to be right and refused. Finally what I told him got through his hard head and he looked and noticed that indeed it was a different ins.
He told me, did not ask for me to step down and speak with Gina in which I was relieved as I wanted to unload on this man after he had disrespected me for a second time. Gina, as always listened and looked and found that my cost was $5 not $55 like pony tail was telling me.
I feel like I have a family type of relationship with the people that work there, I have been using them for a long time and will continue too. I would recommend CVS place Mr. pony tail in some classes or training that has to do with customer service, I would be shocked if you have not already had numerous complaints about him.
Being kind to others cost nothing, I know that CVS does not operate like this, they have great people there, also Anndy up front is always kind.
This is my store, my families store, I will continue to show respect to everyone who works there when I am in there, I know that Mr. pony tail is intelligent, I am not offended by intelligence, it is stupidity that scares me, and I hate to say it but this man is plain stupid.
So CVS, at least take this review to heart and give this person a wake up call when it comes to being nice, and

I hardly ever leave reviews, but I had so much time standing in line to get a prescription I thought I might as well. First, my husband went and it wasn’t ready. I went to pick up later long after they said it would be ready, and it still wasn’t ready because they forgot about it. They waited until the prescription was filled and I was ready to check out to tell me that they don’t contract with our health insurance. Meanwhile a family member is at home with a double ear infection 🙃

The man in charge of the pharmacy at this specific location is a rude POS. He thinks he’s super cool. He laughs and just chuckles at your medical insurance!! Matt is his name. And this pharmacy manager might be the least caring human being I have ever met on the planet. There was a mishap with my insurance and insurance company called to have it fixed while he’s the manager at this location and clearly communicated that he would resolve the problem when I showed up for my refund. They kindly asked me to leave the drive-through and come inside so he could tell me that he wasn’t gonna give you my refund and then he laughed at me!!! I will be filing a complaint with ohh CVS corporate!!! You do digest me. You chauvinistic prick!!! Have a great day, Matt!!!!!
