I can only give 1 star because I can’t actually reach anyone on the phone. I work with insurance for med adherence and tried to call this pharmacy for some information. I called 3 separated times: once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the afternoon on a different day. All 3 times, the automated machine led me to vm with no option to speak with anyone. If a doctor’s office has to call and couldn’t get a hold of anyone, this would be unacceptable. Please be mindful of how you use your voicemail option as patients and other facilities do need to get in contact with you guys. Even if this is a mistake, it needs to be corrected.

Place somebody new and most of the people can't answer a question because they're waiting on a supervisor to come to work

I changed to this location from the closest CVS because of Riggs Rd service. I love the pharmacy on Arizona and Chandler Heights. Service has always been exceptional and the staff are great. Recommend this store to anyone. Also, the store Manager, Kimberly has hired a great crew for the store part

I love this CVS. I am out visiting my folks and have had to go to this CVS 4 times in the past week. Four different customer service reps have helped me and 2 different pharmacists, and they have been extremely helpful and professional. They know personally my family members and always help them. Today the pharmacist wrote personal directions out for my sister due to drug interactions. I have no idea how this CVS has gotten such bad reviews — they are fantastic!!!

The pharmacy staff at this location is consistently slow, disorganized and rude! Not sure if anyone has trained them or if they just aren’t professional people. Definitely moving my business elsewhere!

There's nothing wrong with this CVS & it certainly deserves higher ratings than what I'm reading on this web site! My wife & I use this particular CVS on a pretty regular basis primarily for pharmaceuticals & vaccines but other purchases as well. The pharmacy does a great job & are very efficient on both in-store & drive-thru pick-ups. We both had booster Covid injections just yesterday & we each gave the pharmacist an A+++ for her technique (felt no "stick" whatsoever), friendly attitude & her professionalism from start to finish. We'll keep coming back & definitely recommend this particular location to others :-) Steve M.

Buy a little something on the way back
The layout of each branch is slightly different.
8/23 Not bad, I bought a REVLON. I used to buy some REVLON products every time I came to the United States.
9/6 Let’s replenish some breakfast food

Called this pharmacy to have a prescription transferred to a closer location and the tech who answered the phone told me to call the other pharmacy because he was to busy to deal with it... After waiting 20 minutes on hold!? Unbelievably poor customer service.

My 3 year old daughter had to use the restroom and ampm across the way was closed and so we went into here. They denied a child restroom access. This should be illegal and the lady working there was so rude.

At the very least, this location should be audited by CVS. Highlights below.Issue 1: Incompetent Pharmacist. Scott is the pharmacist who trades days with the competent pharmacist Alexis. Last year, after I had just left rehab for a broken hip, Scott called to tell me he had destroyed the pain prescriptions that the nursing home printed and gave me, which I had dropped off earlier. I asked him why; he gave no good answer. After I pressed him, he screamed, "Do you know how many COVID shots I had to give today?!?" Whoa. Because my insurance at the time required that I use CVS, I made sure to use Alexis.Issue 2: Incompetent Store Staff. Also last year, they were not able to give me a prescription in a timely manner (that's right--medicine), so Alexis said I would get a $20 gift card. The next time I drove through (because I can't walk without pain due to a past broken back), the clerk didn't believe me when I told her about the gift cards. Eventually, she literally threw two cards at me. When I parked and went inside the store to complain to the manager, the store manager apologized and then tried to ring up the purchase I was making, but it was incorrect. I gave up and went home. When CVS sent me a feedback request, I obliged. I stated that the store manager tried to please me but didn't perform the purchase correctly. Later, I received an angry email from that same store manager telling me that I shouldn't judge her. What??? And why did that feedback go directly to her? CVS has cured me of ever obliging a company again when they request feedback.Issue 3: Terrible Customer Service. I have been struggling with Alexis herself. They never notify me when a medication is out of stock and many of mine require timely refills. I use a diabetic sensor. When I requested a refill, I was not notified that there was an upgrade until I called. Alexis said they could no longer provide the regular sensor and that I needed an additional prescription from my doctor. After multiple calls to both my doctor and the pharmacy this week, Alexis informed me that they couldn't fill my prescription because there were no instructions. What? After I asked what kind of instructions, Alexis literally told me "Use sensor and change every 14 days." So, because it was by then Thanksgiving, I gave up and was going to use my finger-stick sensor until the following Monday. Turns out my finger-stick sensor needed a new battery, so I went to another CVS. They were super helpful with the battery, so I thought I'd ask the pharmacist there about the confusion around my sensor. He said that as long as I was paying outside insurance (which I have been doing for over a year), I could still get my sensor, no problem. He filled the prescription in 10 minutes.I'm going to pursue a formal complaint about the location at 4990 S Arizona Avenue.

I went on CVS site to get COVID Bivalent injection. This location had the time I needed. The store was set up well for the purpose, check in was fast and easy, my name was called almost at the exact time as my appointment and Haley, the tech, was efficient and the shot was painless. What's not to like?

Terrible customer service in the pharmacy! I have been waiting patiently for my prescription and I have been calling to see when it would be available, today I was told that it is on back order, and previously I was told I would have it in a couple of days.. now I was told by Alexa who said she was a manager that they "don't when it will " come on top of that she was like I have other patients who I need to help when I had asked to help me with a transfer because of all the problems and Walgreens has it in im stock. She was not helpful extremely rude and had no intentions of even trying to assist me. She basically didnt care that her associates had provided me wrong information.. and then proceeded to tell me that she had other patients she needed to help ridiculous!
