Been coming here 2 years. Been trying other places lately to possibly attend. I do believe Paul to be a great pastor but in 2 years here felt like a lack of community. Im guilty of at times doing this but service ends most shoot for the door.Been to event outside church where a good number attended and ended up leaving early. When we got food I tried to sit at one of tables and was told no. Ended up having to stand some corner of where we were at.This past Easter went to early service and the breakfast. Sat at one of tables tried speaking to people at table and was just looked at and sat there in silence. It was so ackward. Ate and left. It was hour and half till main service. Just went home and listened to service of church where I grew up going in North Carolina. Point being it seems like theres few and far in between people that'll talk and associate with each other. One thing lately that made me start checking other places was one of people there I have had multiple conversations with came up and thought I was somebody who has never been there and carried conversation like we had never spoken before.I recently tried Tri City Baptist and had multiple people come up and speak. They noticed i was newer or had visited a few times and wanted to introduce themselves. Had few younger, say that likr im not in 30s, guys maybe late teens early 20s, come up as I was exiting building back over summer when visited for first time since last yeae and said they wanted to introduce themselves and just pray over me. Have started attending over last 2 sundays with intent to go here going forward. In maybe 5 services in just over a year I've had more interactions than with anybody here in 2 years. If you just want to get in and get out and hear a good service then going here is fine but if you're looking for community I'd try somewhere else.

Our family came to Arizona for 3 months for work and finding a church to get connected to was a priority. We happened upon First Baptist Church, Chandler from a Google search hence why i feel compelled to share our experience. When looking for a church our must haves were- a children's program that is safe, welcoming, nurturing, shares scripture and pray with and for our kids. ✅️ (Shout out to Miss Linda!)- Pastor and staff that are steeped in Biblical wisdom and more importantly have hearts to share God's Word with confidence even when those truths are unpopular in the eyes of the world. ✅️✅️Beyond those things we knew the other things we wanted (mostly community) were just as much of our responsibility as it was the people in the congregation. In our short 3 months of attending we met some of the most AMAZING people and had the opportunity to attend a BBQ hosted by the church and a zoo day with some other families. We were also invited to dinner by another family (Thanks Jeremy and Jenaya). All that to say, I'd highly recommend this church and am planning on going back next time we are in Arizona. Thanks so much First Baptist Church of Chandler!!

Great Pastor! I could listen to him for hours, he's knowledgeable and has a sense of humor. He makes you think about things, it's amazing. My family are grateful members, the people are kind too. The music is enlightening & beautiful.

The teaching and belief of the Church based on BIBLICAL DOCTRINE. They believed the DIVINE TRINITY. GOD the FATHER, GOD the SON and GOD the HOLY SPIRIT. They believed that JESUS CHRIST is God and became Man, conceived by the Holy Spirit in this World to SAVE and Redeemed the sinfulness of men from the wages of Sin and be an Inheritance of ETERNAL LIFE, by believing in HIM, Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

While Pastor Paul preaches God's Word well, the church lacks in community. We say Hi on Sunday and maybe Wed and to that is it. They lack doing life outside of the 4 walls...aka church building. Community/family within the body, life groups .

Stopped by for their Christmas special and was taken back by how unique and how well it was performed. The lines were long and people kept coming and coming. Free hot chocolate and pictures were given and taken, and the experience itself is free as well. The Walk through Bethlehem was neat and definitely worth checking out! Everyone was very friendly and put on great show! Wear closed toed shoes for the all the walking and dress accordingly! It can be cold!
