So I have been to three h&r blocks now the first one the woman was extremely rude to me treated me like a child so I left put it off for a few weeks thought I'd give h&r block a second chance went to a different location that same girl was that that different location she started poking and prodding and asking why she was so rude instead of helping me with my taxes which is the reason why I'm there..... This third location that I visited I sat and waited for 20 minutes then a gentle looking lady came up to me and said hi I can help you with your taxes how can I help you. She pretty much looking in the face and told me there's nothing they can do all they can do is print out the paperwork I already had a digital copy of and mail it in.. now taking a note she didn't bring me into the back she didn't actually help me with anything she pretty much just told me oh all we're going to do is print it out and charge you.... Isn't the whole point of h&r block to charge me when I get my tax return isn't the whole point of h&r block to help customers with taxes.... So h&r block is a scam and they trick people into paying them extra money when they can just do it by themselves..

Cannot speak on their tax services as this location was so disorganized I never got to that point. I called 3x prior to get in touch with one of their tax professionals to inquire about consultations services but never received a call back. I decided to just schedule an appointment with Mamta. The day before my appt I received an email about my appointment being canceled so I immediately called and spoke to them, the receptionist assured me it was a mistake and told me to come in the next day. This morning I show up and immediately see them whispering about their double booking. The receptionist then tells me that they rescheduled me at a different location at a different time. Who schedules an appointment for a client without asking their availability or ever informing them about it? I didn’t get a call or email about it. Unfortunately if I can’t trust them to get an appointment right, I don’t feel comfortable in this establishments ability to correctly handle anything having to do with my finances.

The tax analyst, Mamta Gupta, told me not to pay the federal tax because IRS owe me money. Now I got their letter saying my tax is overdue with interest, and the analyst is not respond to my emails. I paid couple hundreds to have them file tax for me and now they are not taking the responsibility for what they said.

If you have previously had a preparer who was extremely knowledgeable, stick with them. I tried a new person and they were unprofessional and not knowledgeable. I’m going to another provider or make sure to go the person I had previously
