This is the second year I'm using H&R Block. I came at first by a friend's recommendation and I stayed because of Andrea that is taking a good care of my complex tax work.

I would leave no stars if I could.I set up an appt for 5pm today, with Tony Merluzzi.I arrive at 4:30p, but awaited outside, in my car, and checked in at 4:55p…At one point while waiting (I’d say at 5:10p) the receptionist was kind enough to INFORM/REMIND him I was there (pretty sure he heard us talking when I checked in… as he was the only tax analyst there.)5:20p comes and I approach her, telling her, my appt was at 5p? No courtesy of/from him letting me know he’d be with me… or sorry for the delay. Nothing.And the receptionist said, “his current client had been there SINCE 4 PM!” FOUR! So you hear me check in, and you have no mannerisms or professionalism at that, to come acknowledge me?? Or let me know you’re behind???And so I asked her, well do I need to reschedule? how much longer is it going to be, can you find out?So she did. I heard him say, “…if she wants to… it’s whatever she wants to do.” Like what!? WHAAAATTTT!? Thankfully I was able to reschedule for tomorrow (sigh. I just want to get this over with), at 1p WITH someone else. Hopefully this next person has more courtesy and professionalism than this… individual.

This is year #2 working with fast Donna Markopoulos to get my returns done. As was the case last year, I submitted docs at 11a and by early afternoon she submitted my returns. Donna was a pleasure to work with...very diligent and on top of all the details in a timely manner. She even called me when I didn't approve the returns within an hour of her getting them complete. We need more peeps like Donna in the US workforce. I'd hire her in a second!!

Customer service, Listen to me about my return. Cared about my individual needs. Took his time to explain all the details of my taxes. Made me comfortable with his ability . He knows his stuff.
