My husband and I went to this JcPenney on 02/17/23. Unfortunately, we had a very negative experience when we were profiled by a store employee. I am white and my husband is black. This dish water blond lady followed my husband around the store, literally behind his back. Then, while my husband waited for me to checkout, with nothing but his cellphone and keys in his hands, the lady stayed behind him, watching him. Then she came and pushed past me in the line and went up to the cashier and dangled a shirt in front of the cashiers face while she told her something. The cashier acted really weird the entire time she was checking me out. I had a little purse with me, I am not sure where they thought either of us could put something to steal. This is a very degrading experience. We have lived in Gilbert for 23 years, we hold prestigious positions at our jobs, and I am a Gold Card holder with JcPenney, I have been for years. There was no reason for that lady to treat us this way. Since this is the way JcPenney chooses to treat their customers of color, we will not be returning to their store and I will be closing my Gold Card account with them. It's unfortunate that they have such closed minded people working for them. We gave them no reason to treat us this way other the color of my husband's skin.

I'm going to get straight the point on 2-16-2024 the long hair dishwater blond lady who clearly was following me and watching everything I was doing is an Idiot!! I'm a 60 year old man that's worked hard all my life and I've had jobs dealing with millions of dollars and I just couldn't believe I was being profiled at this JC Pennies of all places and you know who you are.And we were even followed up to check out? I turn around and you just happened to be checking a rack of clothing behind me then you grabbed a yellow blows for no reason and walked up to the register where my wife was checking out to show the cashier it was very strange and obvious just look at the cameras and yes I'm black and I don't belong to no black lives matters or anything else that wants to divide people but I will never step foot in this store again I don't have to deal with that BS! I have the money to shop wherever I want!! In

Although this store has a defect selection of merchandise, it is lacking in cleanliness. The cart was dirty and the dressing rooms were disgusting. Every mirror I looked at was dirty. Every chair that was in the fitting room was stained. Just about every fitting room I looked in had holes in the wall. This store needs fixing!

I mostly order online, but lately have been coming to this perfect location near me! Very friendly staff with excellent customer service! I commend Debbie, the counter clerk who always seem to ring me up the few times I've been to the store and have been very helpful with my purchases! Very satisfied with JCPENNEY! They deserve more than 5 stars in my book! Will definitely shop here more!

POOR POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE PORTRAIT STUDIO! Why do you even have appts if you’re running an hour behind??? Then don’t even have the decency to give your clients a call or heads up after arranging for family Xmas photos!! Do BETTER ! It may be a lot of phone calls to make but it’s gonna save the hassle when you have a studio filled with people waiting with their whole families! Yet if I had an appt at 615 and arrived at 625, they wouldn’t have a problem saying they can’t see me cause I’m 10 min late!! The audacity this studio has! I’m baffled.

Some of the prices are high but they always have deals and discounts going on which makes the items more affordable. Always look online before you go for a coupon to bring in and for them to scan at the checkout to save more money.

Ordered shoes on line, when they were delivered, 1 pair of the shoes weren't what I ordered but in a box of what I ordered and they were worn, and not just slightly. So disgusting. The store atGilbert/Germann in AZCynthia and Rose cared less.

Pictures came out great. I had asked for specific post I wanted but was not done. Attention: they don't tell you when you schedule the appointment a fee of $14.99 per PERSON would be added or you can pay a one time fee for membership for $40 , which is not bad.

Best place to buy clothing and shoes for the money. Got new shoes and fresh threads off of the clearance racks for my cousin's wedding which is next month and saved major dough. Just wish they would put some shopping carts upstairs for the men's department as the clothing gets heavy from carrying it.

Had to great cashier's help me Rosa got me set up restarting my account, told me all the specials going on with restarting my credit card, then Debra checked me out and showed me the discounts I got today and still can come back tomorrow for same discounts, saved $141 today.

First and foremost, Ashley the manager is extremely rude and unprofessional. I visited the store and presented my Groupon upon arrival and they booked me with a master stylist after service was done they said I owe money ? Why don't you tell the customers before that they are booked with master stylists and their will be a extra fee ? I ended up paying the extra charge and left . Today I call to make an appointment and when I try to explain to the girl that I have a Groupon and I want to book an appointment what do you have available today ? She said I have a 4 PM. I try to tell her I want to book it and she said let me confirm your number as I was trying to give her my number she was saying a different number and not trying to hear me out so I told her excuse me that's not my number . She hung up on me . I called back 3 times no answer . Then someone else answered and I said I want to to speak to the manager. The manager called back and she has no customer service and basically was talking over me . Like I'm the customer with the issue why are you yelling at me and not allowing me to tell you what happened ? She said do you have anything else to say? I said No . She said I will not have you come to this location and then hung up on me . Someone needs to see what's going on in the salon because Ashley isn't capable of her job . I do not recommend this location to anyone . Take your money elsewhere. Ashley if you can't handle a job with simple customer service go work at KFC!
