Do not waste your money, I was told my kids account will be frozen for next four months from February to June 2024 without any penalty. Not only I was charged $60/month for February but also for March 2024.This place is a complete rip off

I recently joined LA Fitness on Saturday, January 20, 2024, and they didn't tell me about annual fees at the time of registering. Now that they have been deducted $59.89 from my account, this is incredibly unprofessional.I don't like this, and the front desk man couldn't have been more patient in explaining. Kindly consider your actions and proceed.Even if they may have several plans, they must be patient in order to thoroughly explain each so that we can select the finest one.Location : Arizone Ave , Chandler .QR5XBYXWMGX is my bar code ID.

Before visiting LA Fitness, I had proactively called to address a issue with updating my insurance billing information for my membership. During this call, I was instructed to come in and speak directly with a gentleman who specializes in insurance billing for memberships as she could not do it. This wasn't my first time needing such an update, and previously, LA Fitness representatives had efficiently handled the process by taking my updated insurance ID billing number, ensuring my membership remained active. However, upon following the instructions and arriving at the facility, the experience was drastically different. The same lady I spoke with on the phone, who had directed me to visit in person, displayed a complete lack of effort and willingness to assist and said “it’s not my issue”

When you make a change to someone's membership that apparently, is a one time change you need to inform them of that. This gym, specifically Francesca, failed to do this.This ruined my membership for where I actually live. At first, Francesca was helpful to get the situation resolved but then, completely switched and said there was nothing else she could do to help me.They wanted me to pay $175 to retain my membership because of miscommunication on this gym's part. Don't waste your time with LA fitness and their terrible management.

I signed up at the Camelback location with a family membership to access all locations. I planned on using this location for weekends. I brought a guest with me and was told to check in with a sales member. We were unfortunate enough to encounter Greg first. His arrogance was over the top, unnecessary. Long story short, he made sure we knew he was the “Senior Manager” at this location which, clearly, impressed him. The over dramatic gestures were not necessary. He would not listen and did not attempt to problem solve. I have NEVER encountered a “ Senior Manager” that conducted themselves this way. LA Fitness, you need to do better with hiring management.

*Deceptive sales practice*Been a member for 20years and been coming to this location for over 5. Was sold a membership for my 14 year old son w a $20/month vip guest pass to be used for my 13 year old daughter. Specifically discussed their ages. Brought them in to work out but was told that age limit is 14. Manager blamed sales and vice-versa.

Review only on customer service. The gym itself looked quite nice. We walked into location to ask questions about membership and wasn’t even greeted, only immediately told to leave because we had kids. That in itself really isn’t a big deal, but online it said it had a kid center so we were interested in a membership. We didn’t know no kids are allowed to step foot into the building since we’d never been there before. We weren’t even asked why we were there or if there was anything we could be helped with, just told to leave. We checked out other gyms who were more than happy to discuss memberships with us so this was just surprisingly rude. Anyways, we obviously went with another gym with a much more welcoming front desk attendant.

This location is horrible. Very outdated. Machines are old and filthy from sweat and dust. Stainless steel elements at the pool are totally rusty.They really need to remodel and update this place.

80% of your training will be rescheduled with short notice. If your time values, don’t go to this gym.
