I don't know the cashiers have so much trouble with TAX EXEMPT. 3 out of 4 times I have to go to customer service to fix the problem. It's getting old

I just learned Lowes now only has a 48 hour return policy on all major items regardless of whether they've been used or not. The managers on site are very strict to this new policy. Odd when Costco or Home Depot just down the street still have 30 day return policies.

We've only had good to great customer service here and when we had questions on how to fix somethings or what to try in our attempts at home improvement, we always got some good to excellent ideas. We particularly like the garden center staff who are very nice and patient. Mindy in cabinets area was very nice and helped answered some things that were not in her dept. Another gentleman who worked in appliance, though, was quite unable to help me answer something that he just said was not in his area, but he did refer me to someone at the Pro desk who tried to help, but was not the nicest about it even though he gave some thoughts to it and some observations, but then he quickly got impatient when I asked a couple follow-up questions to better understand how to fix that patio cover's underside/ceiling. Best customer service goes to the paint dept's staff person, I don't recall his name, but he guided us all the way to the weather stripping area to show us where things are that we were looking for instead of just saying it's on Aisle ## and he also explained how to ready paint codes to me (Base A B C, etc.) in a simple way (there's more to it, that I'll just have to take time to read up on). He even helped us look into getting some mechanical parts for some window blinds that are malfunctioning, although Lowe's doesn't carry those parts. He made sure all of our questions were answered before he left us to figure things out. Kudos to him and our appreciations!
Finally, I found some great values in their large clearance section at one end of the store and also found a few other little sections of clearance items in (what seems to me to be) random parts of the store. Overall, this is a good store, and most of the staff are quite nice and helpful. We got what we needed and the prices were reasonable to excellent (b/c of the mark-downs in clearance).

It's really too bad, when you have accusations across with management and start a case that you don't get any resolution though management because they don't care!!! Asked for weeks and still nothing.... so sad... Just keep trying I guess

Garbage customer service from Victoria in returns at this location. She made a mistake with the return, essentially charging the money back to a bank account that doesn't exist anymore instead of giving store credit, and then tried to blame me as the customer. Ultimately did not get my money back for the return and left the store empty handed. Lowe's management take note! You just lost $200 to $300 per month in steady purchases over a $30 return, I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on!

Gabby was AWESOME. I came in here to get some paint, not knowing what I was doing and also not realizing I didn’t know what I was doing… Gabby assisted me and recommended an affordable product that was much better than I would’ve chosen for myself. Outstanding customer service.

Crooked Door - Part 1
After spending more than $15,000 at Lowe's to remodel my home, they installed a screen door with a one-inch gap at the top and flush at the bottom which was done by a third-party contractor. When I requested that the door be redone correctly, they refused. No one at Lowe's would address my complaint or refund my money. It’s not Lowe’s the company, but a very callous and uncaring employee, most likely, but the manager would not return my calls. My recommendation is don’t use Lowe's for any home improvements, they don’t back up their commitment to excellence. Updates to follow.
Part 2:
Lowe's Corporate got involved, had the manufacture, who said the door was installed improperly, make a new door. However, Lowe's used the same installations company "Shamrock." Results were exactly the same, the door was installed NOT straight BUT CROOKED AGAIN!
Don't use LOWE'S Installation.
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is the definition of insanity!
