I have rented U-Haul trucks a couple of times here and I noticed that recently they started adding at least an extra mile to the mileage to charge you more. That is dishonest.

My pool pump died in the middle of the job and I came in asking for a pump. I was pointed to a 1/4 and 1/3 hp pump. My old one did the job decently at 1/2 hp so I didnt think much of it and got the 1/3. Boy was I wrong! It would take a week to drain a pool with this thing. At $160, I havd no idea why this product is sold. It doesnt even have an auto shut off. I came into return it and they said no returns for pumps that have been used at all. They did not tell me this when I bought it. After some debate, they agreed to offer me $35 back.
I've beem coming here for years and generally had a good experience. But, I did not appreciate the owner accusing me of trying to cheat him and I was an idiot for taking their recommendation. I can't recommend you buy anything here that you might want to return or anything at all for that matter.

Night and day difference in responses when asking questions or finding help with components here as compared to Home Depot or Lowe's.

I had a great experience and I was greeted warmly at the door and asked if I needed help and the owner Gary, help me get just the right plumbing piece for my bidet Installation because I broke the pipe accidentally. I would highly recommend this hardware store because you get personalized assistance.

Well what the clerk who cut my key didn't Know was that I had another KEY cut earlier at another ACE Hardware, they only had 1 Blank. Their Price for a key $3.25. Kays $5.38. He also went to the back of my car to check my TAG. No reason for him to do THAT. Maybe they just charge a little more for out of state. Will never visit again as long as I'm in Phoenix! P S the key did work.

I love this store. Reminds me of the True Value in my hometown. Personable, professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They give you the personal touch you lack at those big stores. I miss shopping like this. Friendly conversation And buy honey while you're there.

The owner told me go home and get the part for my Spicket and bring it in and he would help me I came back in 10 minutes, waited patiently while he helped the customer in the paint department, then waited patiently why he helped another customer in the paint department. Meantime, a gentleman would facilities uniform walks in and helped him right away ahead of me again still sitting in the same spot, none of the other workers said they can help me only the owner after sitting there waiting 25 minutes disgusted I got up and I left horrible customer service

We had to make us a new screen door for our patio which was custom-made and they did a wonderful job. I would not be afraid to recommend them to anyone.

These guys are just good people. Went in looking for something to remove some small metric screws I had stripped. Griffin removed them for me and found me replacement screws. Literally cost me $2 but the service and time was worth a lot more than that. Love that small business like this still exists! 'm a business owner as well and it reminded me of what I do for people all the time. Patient experience is KING!

I had purchased a Diablo concrete bit set, opened the box IN MY GARAGE, but never used. They wouldn't allow return even with receipt. I also had 3 basic hardware hooks that I returned unused, they said they wouldn't accept return because label wasn't on. BOTH OF THESE ITEMS THEY COULD SEE WERE COMPLETELY UNUSED, I HAD THE RECEIPT, AND THE CARD(all in my name), ALL PURCHASED WITHIN 30 DAYS. I started looking for tools, in excess of $1000 total while they were doing returns, and as soon as they said I couldn't return unused items, I PUT EVERYTHING BACK. I ALSO LEARNED THAT THEY WILL NOT REPLACE "ANY" TOOL IF ITS DEFECTIVE! YOU HAVE TO CALL THE MANUFACTURER AND DEAL WITH SHIPPING DRAMA. They said they were having theft issues, so they no longer accept returns without it being unopened or missing labels. This sounds like a store security problem, not a paying contractors problem. Hire an off duty cop, or full time security guard. My purchases wouldve paid for a weeks salary for one! DO WHAT IM DOING AND TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO HOME DEPOT!
