Dropped my car off at 8am for my 8:30am appointment I’ve called twice and told both times they need a few hours how long does it take to do a tune up and oil change that’s ridiculous I’m not sure what the point of making an appointment is. My ETA was 1pm the current time is 4:10pm and I’ve been on hold 20mins waiting for the New ETA.
Annette was rude and yelled the entire time her poor staff kept apologizing that the work was not completed and for the way that she spoke to me. Long story short my tune up was done completed, the oil change was not done, tires were not rotated and my tail light was not fixed only thing done was a quick spark plug change that they charged me $410 for because they had to find a replacement worker to come in as one guy was having a baby so I was billed for every hour that it took for that worker to get in. I have all of this recorded and will be speaking with corporate early next week!

Chris and the other guys working on 3/9/25 were all super kind. Chris took the time to do a thorough inspection of my car, explained everything to me making sure I had no unanswered questions. Not once did Chris make me feel pressured to take care of all repairs today. He did let me know in order of safety what I should fix first.I am so grateful for the honesty, the patience, and the genuine care for the customer given to me today, that this Pep Boys location has earned a new long term customer.

It’s always a pleasure to take my car into the Pep boys on Az avenue. They are always professional and friendly. They do good work and are efficient. I never feel overcharged or that they are trying to find things that don’t need repair.

Annette carefully inspected my car and advised me of additional items that I had overlooked when I brought the car in for service. Several issues involved vehicle safety, and could’ve caused me some big problems down the road if they hadn’t been taken care of immediately. I really appreciate her attention to detail and follow through.

My son came to purchase a battery for my vehicle, brought it back home, put it in my car and it didn't work at all. My son then brought battery back the same day and they told him to come back the next day when the manager will be in. He couldn't come back the next day because he had to work. So he went next door to auto zone and bought a battery. He came back 4 days later and they wouldn't exchange or refund his money. Instead they called the police on him and told the police he was trespassing. The police told him to take them to court. I go the next day to rectify the matter with some etiquette and decorum and they gave me the Run around for 2 1/2 hours to only give me a battery that doesn't fit my vehicle. At this point, I was so frustrated, I took the battery and left. Nothing resolved. Just a waste of time and money

Needed to have a battery tested to see if it was good. I pulled in, and they brought me right in and tested within five minutes. I had a new battery and was out in no time.

My A/C stopped working. Took it to Pep Boys and they were able to diagnose the problem quickly and had my Chevy truck back online within no time. The service manager at the Arizona shop, Annette was professional and very courteous.

NOTICE THEIR REPLY ABOUT BLAH BLAH as if they care.I contacted them twice-still no one has called me as of Feb almost a month now.
NO STARS I have been to numerous Pep Boys for service in two states and have always had a good experience for many years and therefore give recommendation's to people I know. UNTIL 1/12/2025 I recently took my car into the location at 400 S Az Ave in Chandler.
I then gave her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was having a bad day before and had the displeasure of her same terrible attitude once again on 1/18/2025
Has anyone questioned Annette Mora attitude with customers along with mechanics alike that I watched Twice. I almost left without service but i needed it done.
In my 60 years I have had good service and bad service at many businesses but I can honestly say that her rude attitude is an understatement and that attitude can run this location into the ground.
I couldn't help wondering if any customer or employee has voiced their concern about her. If not maybe Pep Boys should be asking their employees and customers to review her. I will Not be going back and warning others not to visit this location.
THEN 5 days after my so called power steering flush a fill for $70 -the fluid was as dirty as it was when I brought it in. My retired mechanic neighbor said all they did was siphon the top container and refill it. Allowing it to remix with the dirty fluid again. TOTAL WAIST OF TIME AND MONEY. Not to mention the mechanic was 100% wrong about what my other issues were according to two other shops.
Shame on Pep Boys for allowing such a rude person run this place. And shotting so called repairs.
And because they never responded they lost a lifelong customer at ALL locations now.

Needed a new battery. Made appointment on line. They were waiting on me. They tested my battery, water was actually starting to leak from it. Bought a new one and everyone who works there was top notch and friendly. I’d recommend them to everyone.
