After a massage appointment I decided to walk over to Pottery Barn to replace a few wine glasses. I picked up the two I could reach on a high shelf. They were priced a dollar difference. I thought it was odd because it was the same sku. The sales person went to check and the new price was set higher. When she asked the manager she looked me up and down as if I magically wasted my time changing the prices and said it was the higher price. While I know that the price labeled is how the item should be charged I was surprised that the rude manager looked away and continued to talk to two other employees. I then asked for a wine glass that would have the correct sticker price and the manager re-inserted herself and said they can just take off the price. Now not only was she rude, now she doesn’t want to be bothered to add the correct price for a glass. I decided I was treated poorly enough for one day and that there are plenty of other places to shop. This store should be embarrassed and that manager should work in a back room and away from customers.

The staff (a lady that looked like Kari Lake) followed us around the store and didn't talk to us at all.

I have shopped at Pottery Barn at Chandler fashion mall for years. I have spent a lot of money there. It was convenient to go to Chandler Mall and the new location is further to go to. I won’t be shopping at the new store location and I will be closing my account. I enjoyed going into the store to purchase in person and I will no longer be a customer!

It was a nice store while it open in the Chandler Fashion Mall but three days ago it closed its doors.
Pottery Barn will be moving to the shoppes in Casa Paloma. Ray & I 10.
Currently I can see workers packing up items behind the closed mall door.

We just stopped in to get a few things and we interacted with Angel who was kind, caring and beyond helpful. She checked pricing and even helped us find the items we are looking for that could be picked up from the floor today, the manager was not as helpful.

One of the best stores in the mall, With all kinds of furniture and home goods.

I am moving soon and happened to need to go to the mall for work so I walked through Pottery Barn to see if I wanted to make any future purchases for my new home. Upon walking in someone in management attempted policing where I walk in a public mall, telling me to use the mall doors instead of walking through their already low-traffic business. That’s a great way to get business, keep it up!

We will never shop at Pottery Barn ever again! We ordered 4 chairs and a coffee table on December 7, 2023 and they were repeatedly delayed until July 2024. The first two chairs and coffee table in were in their warehouse in March 2024, but Pottery Barn wanted to hold the entire order until other 2 chairs came in 4 months later! After many phone calls and some wrangling, we convinced them to deliver the 2 chairs and the coffee table. Our order was for all 4 of the same color chairs but the first two chairs are different colors from each other, and the cushions do not fit the chairs. We have called no less than 10 times to try to get resolution but all we get is crickets after they tell us we will hear back within 24-48 hours. 3 days after our call last week we were miraculously notified via email that the other two chairs were in the warehouse. They had just sitting there in their warehouse! We invested a lot of money for this furniture and we are flabbergasted at this entire situation. On our last call that lasted over 1 hour with Pottery Barn the representative stated that they will not do anything to rectify this situation.

Only 30 days to return is wholly inadequate. They don’t have merch in stock so after weeks of delays it arrived. Upon arrival they charged me for additional item that I didn’t buy. Found the one employee in Chandler who didn’t ignore me and bought a comforter. She told that PB is flexible on the return policy. 60 days later they refuse to.

Everything looks nice, but the furniture was not of quality. Cabinet drawers on ever piece of furniture will not last because they are only glued and tacked together. What happened to dovetails to hold furniture? Nice looking store, but the high price for poor quality is not worth it. In my opinion...smh

Chandler Az pottery barn. Worst shopping experience ever. Poor management. They have displayed items they can’t sell because they are sold out. Take the display down. They can’t ship from Tucson. It is so frustrating as a consumer to see items displayed you can’t purchase. Put a sold out sign on it so we can all live in peace!

I'm not surprised to see how low their rating is. Haha! My MIL and I came to this location yesterday to look at the Christmas items. The employees are so "busy" they see customers as an inconvenience. They never greet you, let alone, ask if you need help. My MIL found a beautiful ornament she wanted to purchase and went up to the cash register where there was someone "working" behind the counter. She never acknowledged us so my MIL told her she wanted to purchase an item. The employee then went into a barrage of excuses as to why she couldn't help her. I finally just stopped her and said "We want to pay for this item, where can we pay for it?!" She said "Maybe at the register over there." These people have no clue about what their job position entails. We put the item back and just left. Terrible experience. When we got home we told my SIL who lives in the area. She said she loves pottery barn but never goes to that location because of their terrible customer service. Avoid this place!

Every time we shop at this location, we feel like we’re an inconvenience for the staff when trying to ask about ordering furniture. The staff always seems like they’d rather be doing anything else other than helping the customers. Last night, I was trying to find out about ordering a sectional online versus in store and the associate I approached was rude and unfriendly. When I asked about the lead time ordering stating that online it said about 5-6 weeks, her response was “well, if that’s what it said.” She then told me to order through them so they get credit. Because of consistent experiences like this, we choose to go to the Scottsdale Quarter store where the customer service is much better and we feel that they want to earn our sale.
