We requested first floor at booking and called a week before and was told to call day of check I'm. We called at 7 am and was told no rooms on the first floor. My parents are elderly and not only could they not accommodate us, but they put is in a room furthest from the elevator. These hotels advertise they are for long term stay but they have the most uncomfortable furniture. This location also does not have ice maker in fridge. We will no longer stay at a Residence Inn. We have been staying at Residence Inn for about 15 or more years. Instead of upgrading they have downgraded significantly. We canceled our reservation coming back home from vacation and will be staying at Staybridge Suits.
Rooms: Furniture so comfortable
Walkability: If you are elderly not a good place to stay.

Nice place to rest and there is even the option of an extended stay and it is well equipped for it. Excellent room service

Great hotel as long as you don’t need to sleep or take a shower. The thermostat is on motion detector so the room becomes so hot at night that it’s impossible to sleep. Then you get up because you’re sweating and the air conditioner kicks back on when it detects motion and you get cold and it happens over and over and over again, and you never sleep. The shower only had two settings off and scalding hot. I was sweaty gross and in pain after my shower. The girl at the counter didn’t seem to care. I guess it’s a just a function of staying at a giant hotel chain.

The room was very nice and large. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was ok. An elevator was broken. Access to detached wing was not convenient as the elevators were by front desk, and only one was working

One of the nicest Residence Inn's you will find. The décor and styling fit in with the area. It is off the beaten path and very quite.
The staff are wonderful.
The food is the norm for residence Inn's with the exception of having a staffed bar.
There are a number of nice restaurants within walking distance otherwise everything else is driving distance (shopping, activities, etc.).
Safety: Off the beaten path. Plenty of parking. Located in a very nice neighborhood.
Walkability: There are few nice restaurant's nearby in walking distance or grab one of the loaner beach cruisers they have. Shopping, other food options, and activities are all driving distance.
Food and drinks: This location has a staffed bar. The breakfast food is the standard for Residence Inn's.
Noteworthy details: Stylish and quite location. The veranda is excellent with a view of small man-made lake.

Hands down the very worst Marriott Residence Inn I’ve experienced! From walls and ceilings that are tissue paper, thin to the point that you can hear your neighbors conversations, to having a property this large not have any hot running water for a 10 day stay, not one unit has an oven in it no baking sheets, no fry pans… It’s a glorified room with a microwave. The furniture inside the units are so broken down that if you attempt to sit on your sofa, your backside will be lower than your kneecaps. Making it very difficult to get out. During our 10 nights stay, I don’t think there was a front desk person that had been there longer than one month. No management to be found whatsoever. Just excuses on top of lies! The shower area, which I’m sure at one time was White, is just covered with dirt. Even both beds in the bedroom were so broken down and sunk in the middle, that just added to a very uncomfortable stay. Extremely poor management response when you can finally get a hold of one. Took us almost a week before we finally did. To my experience off, 11 days after I checked out, they attempted to make two fraudulent charges on my credit card. this is a franchise Marriott, so you’re not going to get anything that you’re used to when you stay at a Marriott properly .
Now for the total classic part. When you complain you get a “form letter” from the GM. Also, you can NOT post a review on Marriott unless they send you an invitation!?!?
Lastly, but most importantly. This location has theft or fraud going on. 11 days after I checked out they attempted TWO fraudulent charges for $140 & $280!!!! Can’t even trust them with your credit card let alone trust them in providing a decent room or service!

I have had no hot water for over 24 hours! Staff has been advised several times, and still no hot water!
