Safeway Pharmacy4970 S Alma School Rd Chandler, AZ 85248My 1:00pm 9/26/2023 scheduled appointment was not honored at the Pharmacy (noted above). At 1:00pm I was next in line after waiting almost 10 minutes while the counter person (1 of 6 people behind the counter) scheduled a shot appointment for the walk-in person in front of me who had NO appointment. I requested my 1:00pm shot and was told there'd be NO shot as the only shot giving immunologist was leaving at 1:00pm, and the schedule was "out of her control".This is my 3'rd time with poor customer service at this pharmacy location. It won't happen again...

Perfect example of all the things a pharmacy should NOT be. Administrative policies that result in higher prices, pharmacist who are not customer oriented (in fact, I'deven say rude), and potential reactions to using substitute meds are not considered. Save yourself the headache and fill your prescription elsewhere.

Tried to get a prescription transferred from Fry's a week ago. Couple of days later, no update. Now a week later, still no update, after 2 voice mails left (no call back, nothing). Dropped by the store to see what had been done so far ... nothing (and got the 'well, we don't check the voicemails, we are too busy').I will be happy to take back my business (pharmacy and groceries) to other stores ... they will care enough to at least follow up with customers.

Very good staff. FYI... a retail pharmacy cannot lose an RX that was e-scripted (scripts are not phoned in anymore) to them from the Dr's office. If if is not in the e-cue then that means that it was never sent from the Dr's office..... OR..... a rare occurrence if the computer system went down and it was never received. So for those who blame the pharmacy.... it's simply not true. This pharmacy is great!

Went in to get meat and strawberries that were on sale. Had to add to my digital clips and it didn’t work so the rude worker Jaime at the checkout was so rude and said you probably already did this. I didn’t haven’t been in that Safeway for a long time. So she told me to unadd the app and load my Safeway app and I did and it still didn’t work so she said well let me just take the strawberries off then for you. She was the rudest person I’ve ever come in contact with. I will just do my shopping elsewhere I just recommend people do not go into that Safeway and expect customer service from Jamie Lee she’s very rude and unprofessional

The staff at the pharmacy are rude and dismissive. We have tried on two occasions to use this pharmacy and have left both times without receiving service. Yesterday we went to get my husband is second COVID booster, only to be told we needed an appointment. My husband was stood right next to the sign that said walk-ins welcome, so he pointed this out to the pharmacist. She just shrugged her shoulders and said that the sign was wrong, and she walked away. We drove to Albertsons and ten minutes later, my husband had his shot.

I have been using this location for 12 years. In that time I have had 3 kiddos. The staff took the time to remember our names and wave hi to the kids when we are grocery shopping. They not only have super friendly staff, they are very knowledgeable. They are always willing to help with the over-the-counter items in the aisle across from their lab. They also do immunization shots which is a bonus!

They are the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. They don't even acknowledge you when you're waiting in line. They simply ignore you. This has happened to many times.

This is the worst pharmacy ever! I've lived in various places and never have I encountered such an unprofessional place. They give you the wrong information all of the time. I told them I desperately need a refill and to send it to another pharmacy which they didn't for a week. After following up they said they were too busy with covid vaccines. You're a pharmacy not a covid vaccine center which means do your whole job not just what's convenient. You need to care about your patients needs.

Safeway is where my wife and I shop often. The convince of my wife receiving her prescription when we we shop for groceries was ideal. She called about her prescription which should have been filled several days ago. No answer from the pharmacy. She drove out from Sun Lakes to inquire about a prescription since they never answered the phone. Told to call in. Never picked up the call and after waiting on line prior never even answered a simple question.Is it ready.

Well I got to say Safeway they did come through for me on my order and there was a mishap on something and they fixed it so I want to say thank you Safeway for making it right
