I have never been to a Safeway with such bad customer service. Granted it's the holidays, and I will show some compassion when it's busy and people just want to be home. However, I was pushed over the edge when I was helped by Rebecca at the customer service counter. She seemed completely mad as to the fact that she had to help me, and almost that I was an inconvenience to her. When I asked for a pen to fill out a western union she literally just threw it down on the counter in front whilst not making eye contact, and when my western union wasn't working right she spoke to me as if I was 5 years old and I'm dumb for not knowing how the western union worked. Sad I have been a Safeway/Vons shopper for countless years but this one was by far the worst.

Good place for grocery but sales items like yogurt often ran out quickly. The French "baguette like" bread quality is inconsistent, good on most days but bad (under develop, not fluffy) on some days. I've learned to just walk away if the bread is not brown or small and heavy.

Nice people. Nice clean and organized store. Dylan, the butcher at the meat counter, was very friendly, smiling, and super helpful! Thank You Dylan!! ?AND the sale items were all fully stocked on the last day of the sale! The Alma School Rd and Chandler Blvd store FAR EXCEEDS my local Safeway! I will be driving the extra 5.5 miles from now on!! ??

Elizabeth the cashier was Phenomenal. She went out of her way to help me with my struggles with all the different types of coupons. Safeway is lucky to have Elizabeth as an employee. She wonderful.

There were so many products to choose from and every aisle was packed with food. The employee at self checkout was extremely nice which made my shopping experience here great.

Good prices, clean store, fast and friendly cashiers. I love shopping here because I can get in, get what I need, and get checked out in a short amount of time.Beware of panhandle hiding between cars in the parking lot (1/2/23).They have really nice clerks here.Fast check outs... manned as well as self check outs. Clerks are very helpful in all departments.

Not very accommodating. Didn't realize I had to download certain coupons. When I asked about the price post-purchase, they said there's nothing they can do because I didn't download the coupon. Whats the point of that if I'm still entering my account info at the register?! Disappointing customer service as they didn't even try to assist.

YOURE BETTER OFF GOING TO THE FRYS ON DOBSON AND ELLIOTT. This store has a lot of issues. The worst is the self cashier section, the machines constantly breakdown. And the girls that usually are there are ALWAYS on their phone and if god forbid you need help and have to flag them down cause they can't bother to watch for problems. They act like you are bothering them. I mean I'm sorry you are at WORK I'm sorry your instagram and text messaging is inconveniencing YOUR JOB. I went to the deli and again one lady helped me and literally one guy helped another 2 customers with twice as much orders than me. And they got out quicker. I don't seem to have issues with the men they seem to work well but the women are definitely tired. The Fry's is literally at the same distance than the Safeway and it's no wonder this Safeway is never busy. I will just go to the fry's from now on.

On Tuesday 10/24 around 8:30 am I made my usual stop at the Starbucks and as I walked up to the register the employee ( the manager) Sylvia D. Did not greet me as she was on her phone and simultaneously looking down at some documents which looked like a schedule. I waited a few seconds and advised her I had to get on my way to work and all wanted was a banana bread. I asked where was the employee who usually there, Silvia said she gave her the day off and stated" I am the Manager" I exchanged words to her about the service she rudely asked if I wanted it heated up. I acknowledged how impolite she was being towards me and it is hard to believe she was the manager. She said I am trying not to be rude to you so do want the bread heated or not. I quickly refused to continue with the transaction and she shrugged her shoulders stating I don't have give you any money back your transaction hasn't happened. In my opinion, employees should be mindful of customers patronizing any business and Starbucks/safeway are reputable companies and should not staff managers that has no respect for customers.

Used to like going here, not sure who the new manager is but they make the employees get all up in your face. I was just trying to check out some tomatoes and weigh them when this rude lady comes over and deletes it off and rings up the exacts same item i just weighed. Not sure what exactly that business model is but I think it’s super inconsiderate to your customers. I get being friendly but this is being pushy.
