We recently had our regular oil change visit early this month. Then the mechanic told us that we need additional service and repair of our car which we agreed , so we had it done the following week. We were satisfied with the job however the price was quite too expensive especially for us seniors. I just hope in our next visit we get a good discount. I know the previous worker Adam was kind enough to give us a good reasonable price when he was working at this location. Hope for the best price next time. Thank you and God bless us all.

Fixed my issue, it is now running better than it ever has over the past 7 years, and the actually came in below the estimate!! When does that EVER happen?!? Recommend for sure!

I’ve been taking my vehicles to SSC auto for over 10 years. They’ve provided general maintenance and on and off warranty repairs at honest prices. The staff works with me to offset costly repairs by scheduling fixes when absolutely necessary and delaying less important things (like oil changes since I don’t drive many miles). I highly recommend them.

Brought in my car for a diagnostic because the emissions testing site said I failed. SSC Auto was quick to let me know nothing was wrong, and that the emissions place was trippin'. Went back to emissions site, and I passed - so they were indeed trippin'.

Continued great customer service and quality repair at SSC Auto Repair recently. Add to that several times in past 15 years they've saved me $$$ by finding other repair shops diagnoses sometimes inaccurate and/or unnecessary. I trust SSC Auto Repair.

I love SSC Auto Repair! They are always so kind and so honest about their work! I’ve taken my car in many times to them for multiple issues and the job always gets done in a timely manner and they will always update you via text. Chris and Adam are always so friendly and nice to work with and always answer your questions very honestly. Also a HUGE perk that I live across the street so it’s just very convenient to not have to sit and wait all day or rely on someone else to come get me!

I took my vehicle to SSC because I had an issue with the vent airflow getting stuck in some intermediate stage when switching between different settings. Chris at SSC initially told me there would be a $75 diagnostic fee which I paid. I was told one of the actuators would need to be replaced and was quoted an additional $300. I agreed, and a replacement actuator was ordered. He told me he would give me a call back later that day once the part came in.
Chris called me back at around 3:00 pm. I got there and waited in the lobby until they closed. Around closing time, Chris let me know they tried replacing the bad actuator, but realized the one they needed to be replaced was further into the dash, requiring more time and labor than they initially thought. Since it was already closing time on a Friday, they weren't able to fix anything although I waited around all day in the lobby. I rescheduled for another time.
The next time I took my vehicle into SSC, I didn't wait in their lobby. When I came to pick my vehicle up, Chris told me everything was fixed. I started the vehicle and checked it out, but to my surprise nothing was fixed. I checked by switching the vent settings from top vent only, top and footwell vent, footwell vent only, etc. Chris saw me checking the vent settings and apologized and said he would get with his technician. I left my vehicle there so they could look at it the next day.
After work the next day, I checked my text messages. I was honestly pretty surprised by what he said. He said that my test of changing the vent settings and waiting 5 seconds between each setting was "outside of normal operating parameters". This is a copy of his text message:
"The vehicle did not act up again, unless flipping it is being flipped back and forth between multiple modes in quick succession, which is outside of normal operating parameters."
If I go to a car dealership to look at a vehicle and change the vent setting and wait for a few seconds I'd expect it to work. Additionally, Chris also said more diagnostic and fees were necessary to see what the issue was.
I went to take a look at the vehicle, and it was behaving exactly the same way it was when I initially took it to SSC. I felt SSC did not do an accurate job of diagnosing the issue even though I paid them for it. In addition to the initial diagnostic fee I paid ($75), Chris told me I had a balance of $250. I didn't feel like I should have paid anything because the diagnostic wasn't done accurately in the first place. I told Chris it wouldn't work for me and that he had promised me initially that replacing the actuator would fix the issue. It was only until they had tried to fix it that they realized their initial diagnosis was wrong. It was already late in the day and more and more customers got in line. I didn't budge. Chris eventually let me take my car after charging me $50, and probably because wanted the situation to resolve instead of having the conversation in front of all the other waiting customers.
In the end, I paid SSC $125 for a problem that was never fixed, and I still don't know what the issue is. I can't recommend SSC for anything complicated. They lack the necessary skills and experience.

I don’t know how SSC is getting five stars all the way across-the-board because my friend had a bad experience as well and wrote a review with a one star rating and I don’t see it anywhere on the site. Let’s see if mine will make it on. However, I’m gonna post on a lot more sites than this
I took my Acadia in to have a problem looked at. I got charged just over $900 for the repair and took it home. It worked fine for a couple of months and then it started again. I called them up and let them know and they said just bring it back in and we’ll fix it. They called me to come pick it up and said it was going to be, once again, just under $1000. I said excuse me, you were supposed to fix the first time Why would you charge me again for the same thing. It just means that it wasn’t done right the first time. The gentleman said we never had it here before. Now I’m no idiot and a friend of mine will vouch for me that I was there. Anyway, I wasn’t gonna sit there and argue with the gentleman because it would do no good and I needed my car And they wouldn’t give it to me unless I paid. However, they had the audacity to tell me I needed four brake pads and three rotors. Did they think I wasn’t going to have a second opinion this time? Absolutely I was, last time was a lesson well learned. I took my Acadia to brake masters to have them take a look at it. They said all I needed was two brake pads and one rotor. I would say thar i was shocked, but I wasn’t.
Please, if you take your car in to this place, get a second opinion, it will be well worth it. Don’t get cheated like I did.

Fantastic and responsive service!! I was in need of a quick turn around Full Pre Purchase Inspection for a vehicle we wanted to purchase. SSC was very flexible and worked us into their schedule on short notice. They were professional, thorough and produced a detailed diagnostic report texted to my phone for immediate access with a quote for repairs. This was extremely helpful in determining any major issues and what repairs to ask for on the vehicle from the dealer, which they agreed to. Really appreciate this service and would SCC in the future for repairs. Thanks for a great experience.

Tech was super friendly and professional; all techs were in clean uniforms. Techs were prompt, and provided their own blow tubs for the interlock, also delivered as promised on the repair and timeline. I would use this shop again.

I took my 1998 Chevy Silverado in to have my front in repaired. SSC did a great job truck runs so much better now. Thank you SSC
