When I say I’ve never felt more uncomfortable in my entire life I can’t make this up I felt like I had offended everyone in the store the way the workers stared at me I was doing a DoorDash and it felt like they just wanted me out of the store no one offered to help and when I finally got some assistance it was super fast like hurry up and leave vibe she didn’t even acknowledge my “thank you so much” just threw each item in my bag and sent me on my way I’m sure it’s because I’m a black male in a woman’s make up store but man that’s terrible to be treated the way I was I want to cry the way I feel right now racism should never be tolerated especially in today’s time I’m very let down and will be reaching out to HR

Big THANK YOU to make-up artist Jessica Mendez Ibarra for her expert help in sorting and updating my pile of lipsticks and lip pencils. Jessica created sets for me and added a few items to complete every-day and night-out looks. She is talented and very friendly. Ask for her when you are in the store.

just called to ask for a lip pencil 12 mins before close i told her i could be there right now to pick it up can you hold it for me, she said “umm we’re about to close” & i was 5 mins away. very rude.

Worst Ulta in the area. The employees aren’t paying attention to the customers. I ordered a curb side pickup and was forced to go into the store for help. I’m sensitive to smells so this was tremendously frustrating. The employees aren’t sensitive to people like me and I’ve had snide comments made in relation to my being unable to breathe easily in the store. Just go to the San Tan one, it’s way better.

Found what I was looking. First time at this location. Small store but they carry a good selection of beauty products. Customer service was 'good'.

I was really disappointed that I did not receive the free gift of purchase that literally started today and apparently ran out already even though I purchased it this morning at 6 AM online and pick up in store. Before the store even opened…it showed I was going to get a free gift. I was then told that the free gift ran out weeks ago, even though the promotion with a free gift just started today as per my Ulta catalog stated.
While picking it up from the mobile order counter and asking the sales girl about the free gift, she shrugged. As in an…oh well kind of shrug. I get it. I worked in retail for 30 years. Worked in cosmetics at Nordstrom as well. I understand these things happen. I guess I just expected to get a little bit better customer service in relaying the message. She then stated, “this is why people purchase online so they can get the free gift because in store they run out.” Ok. Fair enough. But maybe act like you care a little bit or deliver it more smoothly. No apology at all.
Just disappointed in the smugness of the communication.
I did end up returning the item as I didn’t want it without the gift. The girl at the register, during my return, seemed irritated by me and put off. I purchased all the time from this location, so I’m sorry I’m returning it due to false advertising. Usually with returns or exchanges I always get someone extremely lovely. In this case, they seem to be irritated that I existed.
However, I usually get the most amazing customer service here. Most of the girls are lovely and give way better customer care than the other Ultas I frequent. I won’t let these 2 people tarnish the rest of the staff but they should honestly do better.

Had an amazing experience at this Ulta today. I’m in my mid thirties and have never been make up savy. Going into Mac, Sephora, and Ulta has always been anxiety inducing, especially since I don’t like to bother others for help. However I needed a major makeup overhaul and had to suck it up. I walked in and after a couple of minutes to get myself acclimated Sybil (sorry if the spelling is wrong) asked if I wanted some help. I was able to tell her what a needed, what I wanted and what I know I don’t like. She was able to make great suggestions for everything I was looking for, let me know about free in store make up classes if I was ever interested, and let me know she is there if I want to come back to exchange any of the items for a different brand or if I want to build more on what we picked out. Ten out of ten. Will be going back to this Ulta whenever I need for her advice.

I dropped in specifically to get a lipliner that I can use as full lip coverage. I asked the employee what would stay on with a topcoat. I wanted long lasting color. Unfortunately, the Clinique lipliner that was recommended by the employee doesn’t stay at all. Just a waste of money

Every time I visit I look for my favorite associate Cami … Unfortunately, I don’t know the proper spelling of her name, but I can tell you she’s a gem!! She knows her stuff and she’s super gracious and super kind. She always has a smile on her face and a great attitude. She makes my day.!
I shop at this Ulta solely because of her. Come down and ask for her, you will not be disappointed..you will actually leave feeling better :)

Every single employee (all women) at the Chandler location was so incredibly rude. God forbid you ask them for help with locating a product, they act like you’re inconveniencing them. Cashier refused to let me use my coupon because “this computer won’t scan coupons”.
