“Love this place!! The wide variety of different meats and sides is amazing. I have yet to have anything I don’t like. And I am a little picky! I also like that they are family owned and ran. Great place!! Give it a try, you will NOT be disappointed!”
“Troubs is a small shop with everything I am looking for. I wish we had visited sooner. We bought great quality steaks and canoe bone marrow. They also carry an array of seasonings.”
“Great place most of the time, Have been there roughly 10 times, twice I have received tenderloin that was very poor quality. Normally, it is amazing, but when it's sub average and you have paid a premium, let's just say I remember, and it will be hard to forget. My 1st bad experience was buying there dry aged new York, I was encouraged to let them know what I thought about this new product for them, when I returned for another purchase, I felt lucky as the person who suggested I share my experience was helping me. My non positive opinion was very unwelcomed, So instead of doing the in person thing, this time I write here, 4 stars for 8 out of 10 positive experiences, Pondering now if 80% is good enough.”
“They are very friendly and helpful. I honestly can tell a difference between the meat I get here and the normal stores and my family and I choose this exact shop for any of our meat won't shop any where else.”
“Great locally owned shop. A group of us Canadians were in town for a golf trip. Had looked around to find some pasture raised, grain finished beef, which is generally well marbled. We did not have much luck until we met Al. I wanted rib eyes cut from the chuck end. Many butcher shop staff don’t even know what you are talking about. Al had the steaks ready as promised, and the quality was extremely good. Grilled them tonight, and they were flavorful and super tender. They were not even Prime! If you are looking for an excellent grain finished cut of beef, you need not look any further. Price was on point for this quality as well. Thanks Al. We will be back.”

“This store is an underrated gem! I needed fresh pork fat for a carnitas recipe and they have it here. However, the best part of the experience is the courteous, helpful people!”
“Seems cool! Very quaint local goods shop.Their location has moved due to construction on a new housing development. I used to drive by and watch the sheep and animals. I went into their store the other day to ask why they moved. It's a family business and I was greeted by a lot of the fam. I don't drink milk anymore but I've always been interested in sheep products.I also wanted to know if they were thinking about ever having a petting zoo or animal encounters/education. (That would be so cool) They said it's in the works! Can't wait.”
“It's good. It's not finger licking good but it's close to my house and I needed to throw a barbecue fast. The chorizo was just okay but the marinated chicken was pretty tasty. I spent $200 on 10lbs of ranchera, 5lbs of chicken, 2lbs of chorizo. We also got already made rice, guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa and some chicharrón lonja. Three sodas, some limes, tortillas and avocado. They don't carry ice either so keep that in mind. Overall, the meat was okay. Will I go back? Yeah. Will I recommend? Probably not. I've found places that has their meat much fresher.”
“Their carne asada is always wonderful! They have all the bells and whistles to go with your meal to take home. My one complaint is that they are not consistent at all with the beans that go with the order. Some days they're wonderful, others not so much. A little more consistency would be good then they would get a 5-star rating from me.”
“Love this store. Everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Fresh veggies and fruit.
Great choices for bakery, breads, cheeses, and deli meats.
Prices are not bad.
Always has someone at the register to check-out.
Has many self check, but I never use them.
There is plenty of parking with lots of covered areas.”
“I’m from maryvale and now live in maricopa - I drive here to get my ranchera and asada meat , the best!!! I’ve been coming here for over 15 years . I tried a place in tempe and spit the meat out ! I read the reviews about attitude and customer service , Lol your not there to make friends , but your food and leave !”
“I love the food prepared from there, the beans, the sauces, everything is delicious, the service is fast, and the employees are very friendly, the only thing you struggle with is finding parking.”
“This Fry's store is always busy. I'm impressed with how in stock most items are now considering the wide range of community they service. I'm so incredibly thankful the bakery has a person on staff now who takes orders for cupcakes! These cupcakes were not only ready on time, but tasted AMAZING! They were for my daughter's birthday and everyone was so impressed. Thanks Fry's!”
“I haven't tried the rest of the food, but the food (Fried Gortia) was real good. I might come by the 2nd time to try out their carnitas and other meat items to give my final review. But I did want to note that the reviews is consistent to the services. One of the ladies in the meat counter may have some personal bias towards English speaking anyone. I didn't took notice of it but it did felt like negative vibe coming from her. At first I wanted to order in English and gotten only a "QUE?!" response from her. Then I was using my 2nd language to get my food. No other audible tone came out of her mouth. So I can totally sense her not responding to English.I will confirm this next time I go back and if it's the same vibe, would be my last and just go back to Ranch Market.”
“Went to ranch market had a great experience because of the cashier , i was surprised of how busy they were and this lady was chill and fast. Sure would like all cahiers to be that way. Her name was zulma. I hope thats her name, great service”
“Worth the Drive Every Time
It’s a bummer that they don’t have a location in Avondale where I live, so I drove all the way to Phoenix to get what I needed — and let me tell you, it was NOT a waste of time or gas! The store was super clean, fully stocked, and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.
Now let’s talk about the food. I will forever come here for my soups or anything that reminds me of home and family. They never let me down! The beef soup is my absolute favorite, especially when I’m sick. I was so sad when I saw they were almost out and I was in a rush… but right as I was about to leave, a fresh hot pot came out! A wonderful lady assisted me and got me in and out quickly. ?”
“We picked up 5 pounds of some semi thin steak for some asada tacos we were making at home. They looked great with a little bit of marbling which is how we wanted them. They grilled up nicely after we marinated them ourselves. We didn't try any of the premade meats but they definitely passed the eye test. Small establishment and its very attentive employees. It wasn't busy when we arrived around 3:30. Typical carnicería. Didn't try the pan. I do recommend for asada and other meats. Give them a shot!”
