I want to bring to your attention the poor service I received from Amerigas. I ordered 100 gallons of propane, but the delivery truck showed up with only 25 gallons. Despite requesting immediate delivery of the remaining 75 gallons, only 40 additional gallons were delivered. I was charged twice for the HazMat Fee and Fuel Recovery Fee, even though I received only a fraction of what I paid. This is completely unacceptable. I trusted Amerigas to fulfill my order, but they failed, and I had to suffer the consequences. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with their service. I have decided to take my business to Ferrell Gas, as their service is much better, and I trust them. I strongly urge Amerigas to improve their service to avoid losing more customers like me.

The worst service I’ve ever had with a Propane Company. I signed up for auto delivery and they were delivering every three days and I was paying their $30 fees each time so I cancelled it. When I called for delivery I couldn’t get them out for 10 days. They don’t care. many neighbors have completely run out of propane due to their lack of service.

Two years, dozens of phone calls, 45 minutes on hold numerous times, disconnected and having to start over numerous times, refusal to allow me to talk to anyone local, being lied to multiple times. Absolutely the worst customer communication I have ever witnessed.

Did not provide me with a meter ticket to prove how many gallons were delivered. Offshore customer (lack of) service can not help. Bring back US based customer service.

I've called every month, for many months & the issue is still not resolved as far as I know. If it continues into next month I will just go straight to the BBB to file a complaint.

The delivery guy delivered my order to the house across the street told me he had made a mistake and that I would not be charged and he would be back next week to fill my tank. The next day my online account showed it was charged to me. Called there billing department goes to service centre goes to service center in India. They asked for proof I said just look at the bill I have a 250 gallon tank and the driver put over 400 gallons in it. The charge is still on my account over a week later.

AmeriGas yet again fails to deliver. My propane was on automatic order before the recent winter storm 2/24 but AmeriGas did not deliver it when the weather was good. Nope, they waited until the day the storm hit and then decided to schedule my delivery. The same thing happened last year and I ran of propane during the winter storm and had to drain my hot water heater to prevent it from freezing. The customer service call center is terrible, staff there obviously have difficulty understanding what callers need and read from a script and assure customers that the order will be delivered.They had one local driver that actually read directions and called before trying to deliver the propane as asked. The other driver didn’t call and waited until the day the storm hit last week to attempt delivery and then surprise- he couldn’t get up the driveway because of snow. I called customer service to advise that my driveway was now cleared and of course no one came out to deliver it. It seems they will wait until the next storm and then announce they can’t deliver it. Amerigas has no local office and cannot provide dependable service to their customers. Use any other propane company just don’t use Amerigas.

I see Bob has had the same problem with customer service. I moved to another state and received a bill for $430 for a delivery to the house 4 months after I moved. I paid for my last fill and canceled the account before I moved. I have been on the phone 5 times to customer service (apparently in India) and they have promised to resolve but never have. I got a past due notice and I am now going to get a lawyer. I'm disgusted with the lack of customer service and ethics of this company. Shame on you, Amerigas!

Don't get service here. They removed my previous post so I will make this simple. They fired me because a team member did not cover a shift for me. This "family" will treat you badly and use you. Employees here are unhappy for a reason and when I left, they hired a convicted felon to haul around propane. Find a diffrent service.

Terrible customer service. Made promises that were not kept and customer service reps lied to me which was confirmed by another rep! I went an entire week without propane and I’m on auto delivery! 1/16/24 and still having terrible service!!!

Worse customer service ever. Local team is good - it's the central billing system and customer service that is completely nonresponsive. I've been trying for over a month to get Amerigas to honor the Pre-Buy contract I paid for in August, only to get responses like "someone from contract resolution will phone you within 2-4 hours" with NO CONTACT FROM THEM. Also got a "I put a note on your account to accelerate it to priority" OVER A MONTH AGO WITH NO RESULT.Oh, and now I get a past due notice of $0 shown on my account, when I have a credit balance.Seriously, how can this company stay in business.

I made an order when my tank was at 45 percent, by the time they got to my house my tank was at 20% . I made 3 calls and they were 2 days AFTER their delivery date.

This company has never been able fix or sort out the issues I have been having with my meter and we are approaching 2 years now.
