“We have been members on and off for many years. Main attractions are the same, little renewal. Solid historical perspective. We came in this day to see "Selling of the Southwest" showing. I was underwhelmed. I thought I'd see some "selling" materials, like old ads, magazines, marketing materials. Not much of that. It had good narrative write ups about what occurred but not much visual marketing materials. IMHO. It's still a good visit, art /gift shop is exceptional. Prices high.”

“Very good bookshop! We love visiting these local bookstores and walking around to find a new gem! This store did not disappoint! We found ourselves heading to the register on three occasions! We found a great book for our 18 month old son, my wife, and a gift for my sister in law. The only disappointment was a typical one for many of these style shops. There were very few options in the faith / theology section. The options which were present displayed a lack of sophistication in the subject matter. I believe there were only two books from a Protestant perspective and both were from authors who are not highly regarded in the field. Additionally, most areas (such as history) show the political leanings of those stocking the shelves. Very skewed to the liberal perspective. I would prefer more of a balanced approach that showcases the best authors and works from both sides of the political spectrum so people can be better informed. That’s just my personal preference. Otherwise, good visit and we will be back for the sections that they do stock well.”
