“My family was in Flagstaff for a marching band competition in October of 2023. We visited Babbitt's Backcountry store where I purchased a shirt. BUT, this shirt wasn't just any shirt. It had a picture of a dog wearing a sombrero on it and it looked just like my dog, Libby. You can say Libby is my therapy and she means so much to me. I rescued Libby when she was 4.5 months old and she will be 7 this year. Libby and I were in a pretty bad car accident together in 2022, so we definitely share a strong bond. Well, I recently had a cleaning mishap and soft scrub bleached my favorite shirt. I was SO bummed about it and couldn't just stop by the store to get another one as we live about 3 hours away. I sent an email to Babbitt's, where I received an immediate response. I spoke with Matt and he was happy to help me out and ship new shirts to me. I purchased 5 more shirts for my family and myself. This made my day and I am so thankful for the customer service that I received. I will be sure to visit the store in the future. Regards, a happy customer”

But once, cry once; for the warranty is lifetime (or at least a year).”
“Great service. We had two new sets of skis tested and prepped. Very happy with the results! The service technicians I spoke with know what they are doing. Always speak with the technician setting up your gear. (Like knowing who is packing your parachute) I visited with the other shops and this was the only one I felt comfortable leaving my skis and boot with and knowing that they would be properly setup and perform when I put them on.”
“I had not climbed here in many years until recently. This gym is a cozy place to climb on ropes and offers some bouldering too. Great gear shop and route setting is on point. I wish it had a workout area and some auto belay routes but space is limited so I understand. In short you can come here to train and improve your climbing skills in a pleasant environment with great routes.”
“I had a fantastic experience at REI Flagstaff. I was vacationing in Flagstaff with my friends for some summer MTBin AZ. On day 1 my front brakes started fading, in the need of a brake bleed I went through a few bike shops in town but there was no availability for service within days. Josh and Tetris did a phenomenal job not only with the service but also they went above and beyond getting my brakes ready. They completed the job way above any expectations with a quick turn around. Thanks to Josh and Tetris I had my bike ready and my trip was not affected by the inconvenience. Highly recommend REI Flagstaff for all your needs while visiting Flagstaff.”

“A friend who plays some serious tennis in town told me about this business when I asked him where I could get a good racquet for my teenager. The shop is tucked upstairs in a professional building, so it took a little bit of searching to find it. This turned out to be one of the best retail experiences; the owner encouraged us to take several racquets to try out on the court, which is so much better than guessing what a racquet will be like off the shelf or from the internet. I found out there is quite a lot that goes into good racquet selection, and the owner was very helpful. The result: the whole family now has racquets from his store and we are playing better tennis! We also rented the portable ball machine and had a blast! Get your tennis gear here and support an awesome local business.”

Getting the chance to chat and hear awesome story’s from one of the best pistol makers in the world, as well as getting some tips and advice was epic.
