Thunderbird Supply Company originated in 1971, as a humble display case in a motel lobby in Gallup, New Mexico. Native American silversmiths and craftsmen came to buy finished stone for the jewelry they created and are renowned for to this day. Word began to spread of the good customer service and competitive prices, and soon Thunderbird found itself with a larger and larger list of customers who were interested in more than just finished stonework. Today, Thunderbird is a corporation serving a worldwide market with an inventory of over 15,000 jewelry supply items, from lapidary tools to display cases. It employs people in three locations (Flagstaff, AZ; Gallup, NM; and Albuquerque, NM) and is still family-owned.
Such a wonderful store with super helpful staff. I felt like the prices were reasonable and such a variety of items to choose from. I went in looking for just a couple of things and left with a small basket full of things I didn't know I needed lol. Will absolutely be back!

First time here, visiting, entire staff were very nice & soo helpful. They did not rush you as they showed you different items and prices. Store was very clean and organized. Wish I lived closer to shop here more often! Will be a must stop if I visit Flagstaff again.
