This location is extremely busy all the time. The atm outside and the inside lobby are always filled with people. During the pandemic, I went inside to talk with the Teller behind the counter about how to exchange foreign currency. The Teller told me the bank doesn’t exchange or purchase foreign currency back. The mexican Mortgage Officer told me the more than one thousand Pesos I had ‘felt’ different than green U.S. currency and could be too old. The only reason could think of them saying such a thing is that they are discriminating against me because I’m female. I specifically chose to bring it to BofA because I took them out from a BofA atm in Mexico and couldn’t find anything there to spend all of it. I also had just a few Singapore dollars I wanted to trade in, since I had read and purchased the book “To All The Boys I’ve Loved” that was recommend by the reviews on Amazon and Target and could spend time with an old neighbor who was also from Tempe, Arizona at the pool in Marina Bay Sands Hotel. The bank Teller told me I could call 1-800 number and talk to them about currency exchange rates. I ended up buying a plastic container to keep half of them and just threw all of the gold coins and a few of the red 100 Pesos in the trash. Whatever education and training program this Gilbert Bank of America location supports, clearly it is not of a general banking standard. Banks like HSBC, Goldman Sachs, and American Express just treat their customers with a different caliber of quality and protection.

Went in to get help with wallet app.the gentleman I talked with couldn't figure out what to do so he came up with clever excuse. It's your phone he said its an android phone therefore I must pass this on to someone else. Someone else had no clue. I'm sure they help somebody sometimes. It was a complete waste of my time. Clearly they need training.

BofA tried to sneak in a $16 monthly service fee with no notice. I’ve had the account for 6 years. Never had this service fee before. My account never went below the minimum balance.

Drove to another location and it was not open. So I decided to use this location. They were open and not very busy.A gentleman told me that because of the pandemic not many locations are open even though they're hours say open. The gentleman that helped me today was quick and friendly. I look forward to using this location often!

We made an appt online with Daniel, the financial advisor, for 1:30. He did have an appt when we got to the bank at 1:17. His appt ran a little over, no problem, but as he left his office to go to the back, he didn’t acknowledge us waiting for him in the waiting area. He comes from the back, at 1:37, and tells us his name is Dan and to follow him. What kind of greeting is that? Most who work with people smile, introduce themselves with a handshake, and get their customers name, but NOT Dan. Once we sat down, he still didn't ask our names, just asked what we needed. From there, the appt went well. He very quickly told us Merrill Edge doesn't offer the investment product we' were looking for.

This location is one of the worst locations no matter when you go in, they are always short staff and the two bank tellers are helping one customer and take their time chatting or walking around and take it as an excuse to make the other customers wait for approximately 30 minutes to do something simple like withdraw or depositing money the bank tellers are rude and definitely they are not willing to help the customer as much as they want to waste time walking around looking at us. I went there three different times and every time I had to wait for 30 minutes and leave not getting helped. I hope they do something about this issue

This bank location is phenomenal. My son traveled to Costa Rica 2 weeks ago and we needed to be able to get money to him in case of an emergency. Adrianna worked with us to expedite an ATM card for him. However, once the card showed up it did not work in the ATM. He was leaving the next day so I went to another location to resolve the issue. Not only were they not able to assist me they also stated that since it was not hooked to a checking account it would not work. We then raced to back to this location (thank goodness they have great hours, another plus), but Sonya, the manager, went above and beyond to ease our minds and fix the issue. My son is a minor so she went outside to the ATM with him showed him how to link the ATM with the correct account got the card to work. Her patience and knowledge of how to fix the problem eased our mind which was a huge relief. Sonya and Adrianna are professional, welcoming and patience. Our family will definitely be repeat customers to this branch and location.

Today attempting to deposit a (joint check) from contractor to subcontractor. I had the blonde women, the “manager”. Loudly say “she in her 20 years has never seen check like this”. Thank goodness I’m well composed and am used to unprofessional people. An responded throughly between the audience of fellow individuals behind me. As they had heard her excessively loud statement, as she ushered off of her chair. Indicating “an I’m the brand manger”, walking behind the teller next to her. Taking the check to “get a second opinion from regional manger”. Loudly talking of my business with fellow customers. As not only a business client, but a client. This incident indicated a lot, to me.This employee need’s educate classes. An to have customer service. I had went to CHASE BANK, where I’m moving my accounts to. After this incident, withdrawing my funds from Bank of America. CHASE BANK, cashed it with no question. Smooth, polite and with respect. This location of Bank of America is like walking into an collection office, hostile and always make it personal. Between jealousy of amount being deposited and withdraw, it’s never comfortable going in. Though If I ever have to do more business with this location, I’ll iron my shirt to smile in their faces, to see what will it be today.(Ps a customer next to me during this situation, leaned over said I used to work for blah construction in New York. we always did joint checks.) it’s standard business Bank of America employe’s step outside your personal conflicts. An do business properly and professional.

Horribly run branch. I went in today to get cash out of my account. I have both personal and business accounts and stood in the business line. I was then berated by an employee for standing in the business client line and taking cash out of my personal account. I would highly recommend a different bank. Chase has WAY better service and actually treats its business clients like business clients.

It’s the worst bank ever. You can’t even do simple tasks as printing statements without getting an appointment.Apparently new policy since the pandemic. They are always “short staffed” but I see people behind the teller and in their individual offices mingling. It is apparently too much to ask for a two min work.Been to this place three times and never gotten any work done without waiting for 40 mins.I seen people leave from the line because they are tired of waiting. It’s getting to a point where I am considering take my personal/business accounts elsewhere.Avoid this place if you can.
