The Best Western Phoenix Goodyear Inn is a hotel that receives mixed reviews from its guests. Many guests praise the staff, describing them as professional, welcoming, extremely accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. The hotel's location is noted as very convenient and close to major highways and a local baseball complex. Several guests, including repeat visitors, find the rooms to be clean and the breakfast satisfactory and great for the price. However, a number of guests report significant issues. Multiple reviews mention problems with malfunctioning door keys that require front desk intervention. Some rooms are described as dated, dull, and in need of refurbishment. A common and severe complaint concerns the beds, with guests stating the mattresses are cheap and the worst they have ever slept on, causing back pain. Other noted problems include missing pillows, non-working room phones, and a basic breakfast. One guest felt the property appeared more like a facility for truckers or construction workers. While a billing dispute was mentioned, it and other incidents were reportedly addressed swiftly by management, making the guest feel heard. Overall, experiences vary widely. Some guests enthusiastically recommend it as their preferred landing point in the Phoenix area, while others, frustrated by maintenance and comfort issues, state they will not return.

Breakfast is good. Nobody was in the front desk to help us check in and waited for more than 20 minutes for somebody to show up. We requested for the 1st floor because we have trouble walking and he gave us all the way at the end of the hallway.

No frills place. Great for events in the Goodyear area.
