“Holy moly, this place! The reviews are not exaggerating. They caught my attention when I googled “grass fed meat shop,” came here as soon as I left work and just walked out with a nice, big bagful of a mixture of meats that didn’t break the bank considering how much is in the bag.Everything about this shop is perfect and also, visually, a feast for the eyes. There was much thought put into its inviting design.Dustin, the owner, humbly and professionally knocked it out of the park with his helpful information and advice. (I’m nine days into carnivore eating/elimination diet so had some questions about what he would suggest.)This shop has been open for just over a year and if I could add the word “wow” with a smile emoji between every word of this review, I would, but I’m an adult so won’t. ?Ten stars.(It’s a hidden treasure, my gps was vague when trying to find it. It’s just across from the Circle K and Metro Arts, in the building that NYPD Pizza is. I suggest parking in the little lot between their building and the apartment complex to the north of it.)??”
“Von Hanson's is the absolute best!! Customer service here is always above and beyond, so much so that Pam picked out a bottle of wine for me over the phone so my sweet husband didn't have to chose one when he got there to get our steaks. The prepared salads, jerky and canned goods are always fresh and sooo good and The Meats are of the highest quality. I will not buy my meats and salads from anywhere else.”
“First time visit to Butcher Block Meats. It’s in a convenient location with a big parking lot. Inside it looks spotless clean. The young lady behind the counter was polite and helpful. The beef looked better than Fry’s with good marbling. I had the chicken last night and it was real fresh and not swimming in fluid. So I’m paying for just chicken and not a thick pad soaked with chicken fluid.
I recommend trying it.”

“We had some amazing brats given to me from here for Memorial Day. They were the pepper jack brats & the texture & flavor was outstanding! They do close pretty early, 2:30pm. We didn't know this coming from Maricopa, & the lady (owner?) heard us trying the door at 4pm & she was kind enough to let us in. Great family business & excellent brats!! Can't recommend enough!”

“After reading reviews of how good their marinated beef is I had to go. I was not disappointed. I picked up spices, taco meat, chorizo and a good selection of tortillas. They also have a bakery case I will have to try next time. Friendly service, too.”
“We pick up carne asada and other meat from here at least once a month. It is always good, and my coworkers fight to take the leftovers home. Great place to get a pound or five of great food.”

“The slow and low , marinated grilled chicken here is the best I’ve had . For eight years , I have loved them . 12.99 gets you a whole bird chopped into manageable pieces . A side of rice and beans that are so good you might cry , and an unlimited number of trips to the super fresh and tasty salsa bar. Feeds 2 easy. 3 if you up the rice and beans. Plus you can shop there for your own southwest ingredients for super authentic recipes!”

“Some exceptional people, very nice and helpful, I arrived for tortillas and my keys were left inside my car and to make matters worse I had to take a flight and it was late, thank God I was in a place with many Mexican brothers, clients and employees, there was no one It won't help me, I'll definitely go back to that place.”
