“A real money-saver for Whetstone people. When eggs skyrocket in SV, they're affordable here and you don't have to burn 3$ in gasoline getting them. If you need a birthday or sympathy card, it's here. I wanted to try some magnesium supplement and found it here for a quarter of the price of online or WM. When I get cabin fever, I can pop over to see what's on clearance. 50-cent seeds for your garden. You can eat healthily by choosing wisely from fresh dairy, frozen veg, and canned meats. The staff is all great.”

“The store has changed quite a bit in the last year for the better, the prices after the remodel have become a bit extreme and feels like they are having the patrons pay for it. Although it is the only place here besides the circle k which really gauges customers, you would think they are already banking, but now I only use them when it's absolutely necessary. Prices on their app seem to never match store prices, but using the app,a long with digital coupons ( when they work)and weekly specials is the best way to go. For example 3- 12 packs of Coke would run about 26.00 after tax but weekly specials and a digital coupon drops it to between 13 to 15. Much better”

“This IS your option for full spectrum health food and health related items in town. They do what they can for the small size of the store and have a fun selection. Standard Co-op pricing, meaning a little high. Fry's organic produce selection is larger. Large selection of snacks, loose teas. A couple friendly employee gems that hold it down for the rest.”

“This little store put me in tears. My mom was born and raised in Germany and hearing the ladies accent brought back so many memories! I also LOVED their goodies, and they have the German meatloaf seasoning packets! I'll definitely be back!”

“Very nice commissary with a good selection. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The meat selection is the best in Sierra Vista. They have added online ordering and Monday open hours. Update: the deli is doing taste made to order sandwiches.”

“Tony is the man, the dude is a saint. Took the time to help me picking out the best meat in the selection. The cashier lady however was less the helpful though, asked me who helped me and I name dropped Tony. She scoffed at the idea that Tony could be helpful, not sure what her deal is. Five stars for Tony, without him this business would be a less than desirable destination in Sierra Vista.”

“Great place and friendly staff/owner. I use kratom for pain and order online but when I'm out and waiting on a shipment I go here to get some to hold me over. I also sometimes buy beer/liquor on the rare occasion that I decide to drink. They've got a great selection on both kratom and alcohol and good prices too. They're always very friendly with me too and on days I bring my daughter in they always give her a free blow pop so she loves going with me lol”

“Staff if great! I love coming here to find candles and score some good deals on items that otherwise are pricier elsewhere, especially since I avoid Wal-Mart at all costs. My only complaint is that they have hours posted as 8am-10pm but every time I try to visit after work they are closed at 9. I wish they were open as advertised! Or fixed the hours on google.”

“Loved coming here! We visited about 3 days ago. If we lived closer, I would be here every day. They have a wide variety of Asian foodstuffs along with cutlery and kitchen supplies. I bought some of their kimchi, some new chopsticks , tempura batter, sriracha, rice papers for spring rolls, and a few other things. Their kimchi is delicious! I will be back as often as I can.”

“This store is locally known as the "Mexican grocery store." It sells a vast variety of chilis and other spices popular in Mexican dishes. If you enjoy preparing Mexican food, this is the place to stock up.The bakery also makes delicious Mexican sweets.Meats and dairy are cheaper here. The interior is not as bright or colorful as the town's other two grocery stores. It's an older building. But the aisles are wider, so there's more room for carts, as this place gets busy during lunch hour. There are no self check-out aisles. My friend uses the pharmacy. She says it has the best prices in town.Customer service can be brisk at times. Student baggers work during the day, but at other times the cashier must do the bagging. This can delay the line.”

“Target needs to do the exchange clothes service again, my mom just had a baby and is going back to work so she's figuring out what size pants she needs. She bought a pair of pants that ended up being a size larger so she went to swap her pants out but target doesn't offer the service anymore so she ended up returning the pants and she got a gift card. She went and bought the same exact pants but in a size smaller and she owed a dollar extra. It's not that big of a deal but it's disappointing that when you expect a full price return you don't get the full price.”

“I had to return something to the store yesterday. They were really helpful and with no problem. Returned the money too my credit card, everyone there was extremely kind and helpful. Thank you very much”

“I've been shopping at Frys ever since moving here in 2004. I've learned when the best times are to come here to avoid the crowds. I have a loyalty card, which helps me save 10-40 cents a gallon of gas when I tank up.Shop before 8am or after 8pm. Avoid the first Wednesday of the month as that is when retirees flood the store for their 10% discount. The deli isn't stocked until 10:30, and no baked chicken until later. I do like their deli offerings. Best deals for that is late afternoon.I find their meats and chicken cheaper here than Safeway. Always check the ads. They often have unannounced specials. The aisles are wide enough for two carts to move through. It can get crowded in the vegetable aisles, though. I wasn't crazy about the company switching to self-check lanes. I prefer a large load to be checked by an employee, rather than me being watched by a high schooler. There are usually two lanes with employees for that, but they can get long.Parking is plentiful.”

“I've been here a couple times and I find this Safeway to be pretty average. The products I like were in stock, other than Crystal Geyser water. Everything else was as expected.”

“I like the selection but at 6:30 pm every time they have one checker and 5-8 people in line and no boxboy. Their prices are outrageous and kroger can afford more help. They are trying to encourage you to do their job for them and check yourself out which I will not ever do. One of these times I'll just leave the cart there and go.”

“This is a great second choice for a grocery store in Sierra Vista. This is my second choice because I prefer Fry's. Fry's usually has better pricing but it is definitely more crowded. If I just want a quick visit and they have some good sale pricing I will shop here. The store is usually clean and in stock and the help is friendly. I visited the deli counter yesterday and the lady who worked there was so sweet and helpful! They only have about six registers for self checkout and Fry's has about 24. Big difference if this is something important to you!”

“I generally do not like grocery shopping, however, Fry's friendly staff and clean environment makes it easier to deal with. John, their GM runs an excellent team..Update: no more John, however, core team still solid here...”

“I went in for my Covid 19 booster and Flu vaccines on 25 October 2023 with an appointment @10:00 am. I was quickly checked in by a male staff pharmacist who was polite and efficient . Then a female pharmacist administered my vaccines and she was very professional and friendly. She had given my vaccines in the past and my experience had also been positive, as it was today. I know that a lot of people only write negative reviews, so I told her it is always pleasant to come to this Sierra Vista Frys pharmacy for vaccines compared to other places.Overall, this Frys store is well run, and it is probably the hidden gem for this small town, when it comes to pharmacy service.”
