About Ironwood Pig Sanctuary
Ironwood Pig Sanctuary is a phenomenal organization doing really great work and is home to 680 pigs. It is clear they truly care for the pigs, showing them lots of love. The sanctuary is run with incredible dedication, including an owner who has dedicated over 20 years of her life to the pigs, countless volunteers, and amazing guides. They work tirelessly, putting in lots of hard work to give these pigs a better life, meeting all their needs whether that's sunscreen, special living quarters, medicine, or a SPA. They offer free educational tours where visitors can hear the stories of how the pigs came to the sanctuary and learn so much about pigs and the sanctuary's work. Tours can last over 1 1/2 hours. The property is located down a dirt road and is a beautiful drive. Visitors should be sure to bring water and wear walking shoes, as it is in the sun. There is an indoor bathroom on site. Support is welcomed through donations, buying merch, checking their social media for support ways, or using their Amazon wishlist. They also hold fundraisers like ‘Paint With Pigs’. Supporters admire the sanctuary's heartwarming and hilarious stories about the pigs.

We have been holding fundraisers called ‘Paint With Pigs’ with Ironwood for a handful of months now. Ironwood is such a phenomenal organization that shows such love to the creatures they care for.
