“Entrance was a tad confusing, the U-Hauls in the lot were blocking much of the signage. Walkways inside didn’t seem well planned for foot traffic particularly leading to the cows & horses. But, still a good experience for young kids and the free roaming baby goats were fun to interact with.”
“I love this place! The workers we soooo wonderful. Having a new placement can be a little stressful, but their calmness and their spirit of joy in this place completely made me feel so comfortable. I got shoes clothes books, toys, everything. Thank you soo much !!”
“It truly is a privilege to be a member of such a wonderful and philanthropic organization. The organization as a whole is top notch. But this location in particular is one of the best! So many activities....so many wonderful people.....great food and drinks! Will keep coming back and supporting our organization and our community.”
“The AZ strut team is amazing. Camilla and crew take their mission very seriously and will practically bend over backwards to help you out. My organization regularly visits AZ Strut and they have been nothing short of excellent.”
“This place was my turning around point for my life. I had just gone through a divorce and this place helped me get back on my feet and realize that there was so much in life to live for!! It’s run by great people and I’ll forever be grateful to them for the time I got to spend there. If anyone has seen negative reviews, it’s from a bunch of angry kids who didn’t want to get their lives together. This place truly will help those who go through this program.”
“The NAFFA team is always welcoming and available to help the community. Their courses are helpful to build family unification and strength. Thank you for supporting our families.”
“Love the fact of its existence and its location just east of Republica Empanada. Signage also gives helpful information about caring for urban areas and making ecologically sound choices.”
“My ten year old daughter has had a magnificent experience with EVCT. Over the past year, or so, she has attended Audition Workshops, been cast in Main Stage productions and a Junior Main Stage production, taken camps, and attended classes. Staff are very competent, highly enthusiastic about all aspects of theatre arts (writing, acting, dancing, stage management, directing, make up, costume design, music, choreography, set design, tech etc etc), nurturing, and there is strong overall sense of community. My daughter has undoubtedly grown in various ways - willingness to try new experiences, confidence acting on stage in front of ~200 people at the fantastic Mesa Arts Center theatre, made good new friends, carefully managed her time, flexed her memory skills, dealt with the setback of not being cast, been a responsible and positive cast member, improved her acting, dancing, and singing skill. Thank you to all at EVCT for cultivating such a safe, welcoming, and encouraging space for children who want to try theatre! There seems to be something for every young aspiring actor at EVCT.”

“This is a most remarkable place with beautiful and tireless people giving of themselves to ensure children of all ages, and socioeconomic status are provided with books ?”
“Oakwood is the best place I have ever worked. The staff takes care of the members like they would their own family. The joy and laughter created everyday is unlike any traditional "day care". Love, respect, and connection is spread day after day on top of enriching classes that engage the mind, body, and spirit. If anyone is considering bringing their loved one to Oakwood, you will not regret it.”
“Vera and Jim Dingman founded this ministry to serve children who needed a home starting with the brutal depression years. The work continues today. For years I supported them through the Mesa United Way and visited the campus serveral times over the years. I am retired now and starting to shed some of my furniture from over the years. Today I had the pleasure of donating 4 bookcases. The donation was scheduled online. They texted me about half an hour before their arrival to let me know they were on the way. Two very kind gentle showed up with a humungus truck and loaded up the bookcases for me to take to the thrift store that helps to support this important work. I will be calling them back in a few weeks to take some dressers as well. I highly recommend this organization.”
“I have never been there, but my daughter April Foster has. She is homeless in mesa and has been by her choice since Nov 2019. We miss her terribly. If you see her give her a hug from her mom. Pas has been good to her.”
“I have been here multiple times when I was just turning an adult and 18 years old and twice again after getting out of the joint. I was there when the original owner ran the place (Margie Frost) and after it was taken over by A new leaf. Both times it was a great experience. I was hard headed when I was young for sure but they were patient with me both times. ? I learned so much from this place and gained tools to continue on the right path in life and it has worked now for 12 years and I'm at a better place in life than I have ever been. I own my own house and vehicles have had the same job for going on 6 years and have a family of my own. I am so thankful for east valley men's center.”

The food boxes that they provide help not only to feed the body, but it feeds the souls to restore their faith in humanity. This group is there to help when you least expect it and when you need it the most. I cannot thank them enough for everything that they have done not only for me, but for the entire community around them.”

“My Husband and I were reffered to Child Crisis by someone from our church. She has fostered and adopted several children, so we aplreciated her experience so much.As we finished our orientation and moved on to appointments and classes, we could easily see, that we had made the right choice. Our Adoption Specialist has been so kind and supportive through this process, and everyone we have met is so happy and personable. We loved taking our adoption classes, because the Teachers were so fun!We eventually had to be assigned to a new Adoption Specialist, because our previous person was diagnosed with a difficult illness. When we met our new agent, we were so happy to find her to be just as kind and supportive. Everyone from Child Crisis, who has been involved in our dream, has made a huge impact on our lives. Our forever family will be eternally grateful.I tell everone about this agency, from the ladies working at the nail salon, to the person who answers, when I call to schedule a Doctor's appointment.”
“My Mother in law lives here and she loves it. I'm so impressed with the leadership and how they reinvest back into the community with fresh new flowers, new parking lot and paint. It is a pleasure stopping by for a visit and always finding it clean and up to date. The care taken for the property is also how they take care of my Mom. Great job!”
“I am a sucker for a good resale shop and I love a clean and well organized store! I surprise even myself with wanting to return multiple times no matter what the sale of the day is. Great store and wonderful staff!”
“It is doing a great service for this local community and it will receive all my future donations to the thrift store there. It funds the food bank there that provides a huge service directly to the local community.”
“They welcomed us, fed us, and tended to our needs in ways I never would have dreamed of. Totally awesome experience, and I thank God for these loving people who know what it is to serve Christ and mankind. This is how it should be.”
“Boys & girls club of the Grant Wood branch the staff the bosses were so nice to me so generous kind and so sweet Mario Diaz if you can hear what I have to say I am sorry Mario Diaz for going to a classroom without your permission without the principal permission and without the board permission I took upon myself to go to the classroom sit there and talk to the teacher I wasn't supposed to do that and I should have did that what I should did was sit there and wait until the kids got out of school then I can go back there also Mario Diaz I'm sorry that I took upon myself to yell at one of your students that goes to the boys and girls club after school program I apologize for yelling that's a student I should have walked to adults and let them know what was going on I didn't deal with it that way because I took upon myself just to yell at that person instead I shouldn't have did it and I got in trouble for it and I had to stay home that day so Mario Diaz if you give me another chance I will follow the rules at the boys & girls club of Grant Wood branch I'll follow all the rules that you have as being a volunteer and follow the rules by step by step and I will work on not yelling at the kids if something's wrong I still went to a grown up and let them know what was going on and I'm sorry for that Mario Diaz if you accept my apology I would like to come back to the boys with girls club of Grant Ward branch and start all over fresh and being a new volunteer worker and follow staff rules Mario Diaz and Francine beck what's so generous kind to present a reward to me for being a really hard worker helper volunteer and being there on time”

“It is always a pleasure visiting this place! The staff is awesome, the patrons are friendly, the drinks are amazing, and the rental hall is fantastic! I would recommend this place any time!”
“My mom had a lot of household goods she wanted to donate and we came across this place. After asking a ton of questions, we really like the concept and what they are doing for people, and we think it is a very worthy and worthwhile cause. I hope the families going through their program are appreciative of the fact that a program like this exists to get them back on their feet. I know I've had to struggle with homelessness when I was younger and with my children, and I thank God something like this existed for me (although in another state) to help me get on my feet and it taught me how to stay on them. Thank God there are still people in the world who want to help other people ?. If I still lived in AZ I would volunteer here every chance I got!”
“I absolutely love this organization. I volunteer here from time to time. The staff is incredibly nice and events are officially run. This is a great opportunity to have children volunteer as well.I will be going back to feed my starving children for volunteer events in the future. This is a great event if you are organizing a volunteer event for your company. Not only are you making a huge impact, it’s pretty fun.”
