If I could rate it 0 starts I would. From beginning to end the experience was HORRIBLE. Buckle up because here is my encounter from start to finish.I walked in on 10/31/2023 at around 12:45pm. It was my 2 friends and I. We walked in because my friend lost her phone and she wanted to buy my iPhone 14 pro max from me because I had just upgraded to the 15 pro max. I was going to trade my phone in at apple but I offered it to her for cheaper than what apple was giving as a trade so that she could buy it and replace the phone she lost. We went in to remove my phone from the line on cricket that was under my name, so that she could use the phone on her cricket account. I was not cancelling anything! To start off he gave me issues because the account was under a name that did not match my Id. I understood this but I advised him that I come from NY and in NY when you do a cricket account (at least a few years back) you were able to out any name on the account because it was prepaid. Thats why my account had a made up name. He didnt let me access my account even after I also told him he could send a temp pin to any number on my account and I could easily give him it because I had all the lines in my hand that were on the account. What he did not know is that I worked for cricket for 5 years in NYC which is why I also know that there are other ways to access the account besides verifying the name. You can have a temp pin sent to the phones or there are security questions that you can answer. He did not give me any other options and just denied my access!!! So what did I do? I called customer service right in front of him and had my account switched to my actual name as stated on my ID and he had no choice but to give me access afterward. He looked furious that I did this. Livid!To top it off, after the fact, when he was doing the switches he tried to tell me that the phone I was giving my friend was not unlocked because it was from at&t! Mind you, I was using cricket service on it and even showed him on the phone where it said clearly cricket service on the top and he was still denying it being unlocked. For those who don't know, spoiler alert! All AT&t Phones will work under cricket even if they are not unlocked because they run on the same network. Sometimes some stores will say they are not unlocked just to charge you for an imaginary unlocking that is never done. But like I said, I worked at cricket so I know better. I told him what needed to be done, bought a sim card from the store for $10 bucks and had him do the switches as I commanded. He eventually gave in and did them and the phone worked just fine under my friend’s account. I confronted him again afterwards and he still was trying to say that sometimes they are locked even if at&t. He Clearly has no knowledge, needs more training and does not belong there. He also didn't offer my friend insurance for her phone in which I explained to her and she happily took it. He had no knowledge of the 5 line plan that is the cricket core plan which is 5 lines for $125 a month all unlimited. All around he absolutely sucked. Had ample chances to offer her a case and screen protectord & did not! Almost fumbled the insurance add on and could have gotten her to add more lines because shes paying like $100 for 2 lines and can have 5 lines for $125 if done correctly. I didn't even get his name because I was so mad and I felt so disrespected because he was so impossible. He was the only person there an was working at the time I was there from 12:45 - 2:40pm. Yes, almost 2 hours on some simple sim swaps and imei swaps. I suggest if you know who he is stay away from him especially in doing any changes on your account. He was rude, unprofessional and extremely unseasoned. He needs basic training & to call someone more seasoned when he doesn’t know instead of just saying what he thinks and has no knowledge of.Thats my story. I did all the work for him. So 0 stars. Worst experience ever especially when I know how easy and fast that all couldhave been. Hope thi

Anna is the lovely woman that took good care of my husband and I! She smiled and helped answer any and Al questions we had! Only giving 4 stars due to the AC not working well for the weather we’re having! I feel so bad for her and anyone else in there especially having to work in that heat while it’s super hot outside! Please fix AC for your employees! It’s not fair for them to wrk in that! Anna was nice enough to let me and my small daughter use her personal mini fan while we waited for her to set us up! She definitely helped a lot and it made my little girl happy that she was finally cool enough to nap! Thank you so much Anna and her coworker that helped my husband at first! You got great people working here and that’s fact!

Very helpful staff and they all greeted us with smiles and hellos! Very eager to help and answer any questions we had! Very well organized and was on top of finding us the best deal for our family! Would definitely recommend this store to check out what options you have for a new or current service!

ZERO STARS IF I COULD!! got charged for a screen protector we never bought as well as charged for a brand new line when all we asked for was it be added into her current plan they don’t know when the manager will be there they don’t know when she can go in and get a refund not sure if this is how they run a business but I’ll make sure to go in person every day if that’s what it takes this is horrible customer service and I don’t recommend coming to this store they have their customers running around calling trying to get a refund when they’re the ones that messed up also spoke to Ana wasn’t any help at all doesn’t seem to know at all when their management works and Idania was the one who did the activation maybe management needs to be trained better to figure out how to better train their employees if they’re just adding random accessories to peoples purchases completely unacceptable

I've got a cricket phone now. I've had it for about 4 months now. The closest office to my home is the cricket store located on gilbert road and broadway in mesa.. I didn't get my phone at this store because of misinformation given to me from the staff. I was quoted one price over the phone and when I got to the store they decided to add an extra 125 dollars for aome kind of admin fee. I stormed out. Went to another cricket store and walked out with my new phone. I've gone into this store on Gilbert/broadway approximately 5 times for various reasons from accessories to troubleshooting security options. Not once was I ever "helped". Every time I walked out of that store I had zero issues resolved. All they tell you is to go to the website and ask them. Yet each time I go to the site I can't seem to find any information that I need. Cmon cricket, how about a little training over here in customer service? I understand the store in question is part of a franchise and you probably have no say or control over how they do business. So who do I need to get in touch with? They represent YOU. anyway people stay clear of this place. Customer service is currently under construction.well thanks cricket. Yet again you failed to save the day. Why are all the other stores so nice and friendly? And furthermore isn't this a cell PHONE store??? Why can you not ever answer the phone??? I have to drive down there to be disappointed? Thanks for the gas money spent. You SUCK!!

I went in the other day to purchase a phone and the worker was being rude from the start and i asked to speak to the manager and she was being rude as well! i then got tired of it and asked for my money back and they threw the money at me in a rude way
