Desert Sands Golf Course is an 18-hole par 65 course that has been a fixture since 1969. The layout has not changed much, offering a fun and challenging experience spread over 79 acres with a remodeled driving range and practice area. Many consider it a hidden gem and a confidence booster for amateur golfers, excellent for working on approach shots and putting. The course is noted for being in excellent shape and is great for players of all levels, including seniors and kids just starting out. It features the Oasis Grill for a bite after the game and a Pro Shop for golfing needs. While generally praised, some note the removal of benches, which were handy for the senior clientele often seen there. Overall, it is a well-regarded desert oasis for a round of golf.
Desert Sands Golf Course is the course I golf at the most. I played for my school team and this was our home course. The staff are really friendly. They have a driving range, putting green, and chipping area. The course is not always in the best condition, but it is still a real fun place to play. I recommend golfing here... read full comment

Small executive course with no water or sand traps. Good for novixe golfers. No blue or black tees available. Fairways are ok, but not lush thick grass. Staff is amazing, so pleasant and friendly!! They make this golf 4 stars, otherwise it would only be 3 stars.
