I was on marketplace last night looking for an affordable bicycle to get me around town, possibly go back to work on.
After many, MANY postings, I found exactly what I was hoping to find; and it's a bike I'd owned before, but marked down to a price I can actually afford. Messaged the guy Codi, he was very responsive, very positive experience.
Went in this morning, got there before they opened. Codi was professional and very friendly, and once I'd purchased the bike, he even loaned me the tools I needed to get the bike up and running to my specs.
EXTREMELY happy with both my purchase, and the experience I had with him. The store was a lot smaller than I expected, but very well organized and very clean. Would go back again, they have everything you could possibly need or want.

“Big Lots has many unique items and I'm sure you'll be happy with their prices. For example nobody beats their prices on boxes of Coffee pods (80-$21). That's almost 35% of Costco's *Bold coffee. So if you love *SBux Bold coffees like I do you'll enjoy the STRONG flavored Italian Roast Coffee by Victor Allen they carry.

“Good customer service, but the store itself could use some help. I wanted to purchase an item that was bigger and a little bit more heavy. Not only were both of the same items that I wanted damaged, but they were hooked on to the shelf in a weird way so one fell, and there was no way for me to get it back up. And I can tell that the items were damaged because they were not hung up properly and kept falling. Too bad, because I really wanted that item. I saw a little kid bashing on an item, and a store clerk walked past and did nothing. Nobody cares about anything anymore and it's just a bummer. I guess I shouldn't expect anything more in 2024.”
“I love Dollar Tree. The staff at the registers were very friendly and helpful. However, One of the stock persons was kind of rude and when I asked a question and seemed like she was too busy to assist me. As I am handicapped and walk with a cane or walker, I think all their stuff should be retrained in customer relations buy those two helpful front-line people.”
“Everyone we go. There are boxes everywhere so you cannot already reach something, that is being blocked. The is nothing a dollar anymore. Process start at 1.29 and up but still pay less on most things than at Department stores”

“Don't let the reviews scare you. This place is legit. I worked with Steve through FB marketplace. We agreed on a price and I went to the store the next day. He let me open what I was buying a test it. Even gave my 24 hours to look it over again. There were some pieces missing that HE pointed out to me as we went though it. He was kind enough to renegotiate do to not being a complete kit and I walked away with a great deal, smile on my face, and a great product! Go see Steve!”
“The place comes in clutch when you need something. The employees are kind. I came in tonight and a newer gal I has never seen is slammed. She’s got like 10 people waiting in line. I turn down the beauty isle cuz I’m about to pay and there’s a bunch of people in that new gals line. And I see ann employee and ask Jenell the employee if she was gonna open a new line. She says, yea if she asks me for help. I’m assuming she’s referring to the girl slammed. Like ok Jenell, I see you girl. We don’t take initiative to help your colleagues. Anyways, I grab something and I get in her line and I say thank you after paying. She ignored me, I said it again. She still ignored me. This time I look at her and say, “I said thank you”. She got frazzled and said thank you back to me. Come on girl, it’s ok to take initiave and to be kind.”
“I needed medicine for my son and I see the owner every evening and he knew I had a stressful night I told him my so ha a toothache and I needed ibuprofen. I told him my card my decline but he gave me two of them. Him and his family are so generous and giving. It’s my little wal mart. I luv you guys.”

“Overall, the experience went well. It was a bit busy due to it being a Valentine's Rush the day before. However, I'm glad we got what we needed quickly. We bought a couple of Valentine's cards and some candy, of course, that was a good top off for Valentine's gift!”

“I love this Store. As an Employee that works there and as a customer who shops there when allowed. This is the first job I've have in a while where the management treats you like a HUMAN and not a machine. They actually care if your not feeling well or get hurt on the job or if you have a child to tend to. I've had all three . It's nice to see them not judge a person based off how they dress or tattoos like my old job did. Thank you for taking the time to review my notes. Have a happy new year.”
