I called to setup appointment for a battery replacement on my iPhone. Over phone he quoted me price and confirmed it was available. When I showed up for appointment, they did not have battery and even if they did they claimed they didn’t have time to do it. They directed this appointment and it was just a waste of time .

Geek Squad employee stole my bank account info when I bought a new computer and made charges to my account. Mesa police got involved. Ever since then Geek Squad tries to charge me for a subscription every year and just did it again and my credit card holder won't believe me that I would never have a subscription with any entity at Best Buy and they are saying I have to pay since I can't prove I cancelled something I never signed up for in the first place. I have to cancel my card to get rid of all these and future dishonest charges.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS- they all lied about why I had to reschedule because they are lazy. I had scheduled an appointment weeks before to service my iPhone battery. I showed up and they told me no we don’t have anyone available, then changed it to “we have one guy but he’s only available till 5 and it takes 3 hours to change an iPhone battery”. Questioned them again and was told “you scheduled it through apple and they don’t know what technicians we have so it’s on them, you can try again tomorrow”. I called apple and they told me Best Buy sets the schedule. I would go anywhere else.

Don’t waste your time lazy techs… dude literally lied to my face about not having a part just because they were busy and didn’t want to help I called before I came they had it for walk in I came in and he had me wait 20-30 minute just to tell me yeah apple stores a lot better yeah they are and shouldn’t be partnering with people like this

This place took my computer, which had a broken monitor, and shipped it all over the place to get it repaired. After three weeks of getting the run around I asked for my computer back. The could not repair it and never contacted me once after I dropped it of to give me updates like I was told I would receive. Terrible place to go because if you call to check on your repair, you are sent to a call center in India, and the customer service people don't speak very good English and can't help you.

Dakota Murphy is unprofessional and an excellent explain of how entitled someone feels to bash another business. I will never use geek squad and wouldn’t trust someone like Dakota.

Just needed a tv hung up and it takes them only 30 min to do I was more than prepared to spend around $100 but got quoted $250 which is beyond insane. Recommend using thumb nail app instead they charge significantly less to do the same thing! Plus it’s much easier to get someone to your house vs geek squad and having to go through Best Buy phone process

I bought the security/warranty plan that had Geek squad visits free...BUT they changed it and charged me $103.00 for a warranty visit. Scam to be sure

Off shore call center says they are in store.. they are NOT.. made appointment, got to store 1/2 hr early, checked in. It was on hour past my appointment time when someone finally came to see us. The order of customers board never changed ( so do not believe it). This location is terrible.

Update: one year later, and I never received a refund or an apology. Avoid Best Buy and Geek Squad. You'll receive better customer service from a rattlesnake. There are plenty of other options out there.

We placed our order on line to Best Buy on Southern, according to on line they had 5 in the store. We waited 4 hours for them to call so we could pick it up. My husband went to the store (no one in line at pick up) and saw our model of the tv on the shelf. Still not ready. The same thing happened to our daughter in law a few months ago... showed up and they told her they were out of stock. My point...don't ever order on line for anything--just go pick it up. Unfortunately, only sales people want commissions for the items so they don't help on line orders. I give them a ZERO for on line service and a ZERO for costumer service. Maybe Walmart would be better!! *

Placing a phone call to your "Local" Best Buy location is an expertise in frustration. Your call is first answered by a chat bot that won't let you get to a representative, next you get routed to an offshore operation that speaks very broken English and doesn't understand your question, lastly they offer to give you the number to your "Local" store and guess what it was the same one I called that got me to the offshore support. Very upset, basically unless you drive to your local store your not going to speak to anyone who can help you!

Came here because my laptop unexpectedly died and went to Tech Heaven so I was on a mission to replace it with a new one. I met with Chance and he got me all set up with a new Lenovo laptop and the best thing for me was it was on sale, so I got it, Microsoft Office, and Trend Micro antivirus software out the door for less than $1000, which I was initially thinking I'd be spending much more. Chance was very friendly and helpful, not to mention sympathetic to my situation. He is very accommodating and will go above and beyond to make sure your consumer needs are met. He is also straightforward and honest and will not steer you into buying a dismal product you will not enjoy down the line. He told me right away which laptops to avoid and why and showed me the best ones and went over their features, the pros, and cons, which helped me make my decision on the one to go with. I HIGHLY recommend Chance when you're looking for a good quality customer service rep to sell you a laptop, desktop, or other tech product you're seeking. He is truly knowledgeable!!!
