“I was purchasing a vehicle at Courtesy Kia in Mesa. Out of nowhere this Allstate agent (Jimmy Parchment-Chavez) comes up and asks if I’d like to save some money on car insurance. He saved me a bundle! And then he saved me even more on my homeowners policy! I didn’t have to do a thing. He had already prepared quotes for me with identical coverage. I am completely thrilled. I signed up with him for my home and auto insurance in Tempe so long ago… well over a decade has gone by and I continue to have Excellent coverage and service. He is always quick to respond to my emails, questions, and the couple of times I’ve needed to file a claim it was handled quickly. I just listened to his dad sing happy birthday on my voicemail, which prompted me to be sure I left a review! (Yes! His dad calls and sings happy birthday to his clients and I look forward to it every year! “If you are wondering what has happed to customer service in the age of 800 numbers with their long menu of help options and recorded messages, well it still exists. State Farm has an 800 number, but if you want personalized customer care you can call the office and speak to a friendly professional. No need to find the right option or wait on hold for a “real person”. I am not used to having a local agent. I guess it’s Old School, but Retro certainly works for me. I spoke with Shiela Duffy to switch coverage for auto and home. The rates were good, but I wasn’t sure what it would be like to work with a local office. I am used to working on line or talking to a call center where the level of experience and training is not always consistent. When you need information or help, you may not get the best answer, or worse yet, any answer at all. Sheila set up my policies quickly and efficiently, and all questions and concerns were handled professionally. It is always a pleasure to speak to her and she encouraged me to call during business hours and talk to her directly whenever I needed any help. I feel confident that she is looking out for my best interest. I would highly recommend this State Farm office.”
