Savers is a global thrift retailer that offers gently used clothing, accessories, and household goods at affordable prices. The company operates over 300 locations across the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Quebec under various brand names including Savers, Value Village, Unique, and Village des Valeurs. With a focus on sustainability, Savers' Rethink Reuse model helps keep over 700 million pounds of used goods out of landfills each year while also supporting over 100 nonprofit organizations through the purchase of donated items. Customers generally have positive experiences at Savers stores, praising the friendly staff and clean, organized environments. The half-off discount days are particularly popular, allowing shoppers to find great deals. However, some reviewers note that regular pricing can be a bit high, especially for more worn items. The limited return policy, which only applies to clothing and is for exchange or store credit only, is also a point of concern for some. Overall, Savers provides a convenient thrifting experience with a wide selection of pre-owned goods. While pricing and policies may not always meet everyone's expectations, the stores' community-focused mission and commitment to sustainability make Savers a popular shopping destination for bargain hunters and eco-conscious consumers alike.
